pains me to say it, but it looks as if lennon has lost interest in paddy. Havent seen him feature in weeks/months. Today at 2-0, even 3-0 up was a chance to give the guy some playing time, yet and all he sits on the bench. The last time i can remember him even getting a chance was when we were 0-0 and couldnt find a way through, paddy comes on takes it round 2/3 players and plays stokes through to square it to hooper and we win 1-0
The guys commitment to the club cant be questioned, neither can his effort, I hope for his sake if hes not in lennons plans that he moves on to somewhere, where his talent can be fully appreciated,
In saying that I really hope im wrong and lenny gives him a proper run in the team very soon

don't think he is good enough for the big games and isn't as consistent as the people ahead of him
-
We didn't need him today, we only need to use Paddy when we're desperate because he's a luxury player that we can't afford. Lennon watches him everyday in training and he knows best.
I would keep Paddy if he's willing to stay, only playing a part at times. -
He isn't the good enough to move on to the next level with us IMO.

Gary Hooper interviewed in The View couple of months ago said Paddy was the best in training. He has to move on for his own sake.

What id say too, we only need McCourt when we need a goal with 30 minutes or so to go in games as when games are won theres no need for him to come on and he isnt really ever going to get a start in midfield considering the amount of guys who are ahead of him Samaras, Forrest, Commons, Ki, Brown, Kayal, Ledley and Wanyama who we struggle enough to fit in.
Id still keep him though but if he wants to leave for regular football then I would wish him the best as hes great to watch. -

I think Paddy is more of a trouble shooter and brought on near the end of games we have been struggling in. Judging by the run we are having at the moment his services have not been required.
I think the guy would be better to move on for his own good TBH. -

good, overrated and sick of hearing about him
-
If he wants out then we should loan him to a championship team until the end of the season to increase interest. -
-
and what exactly did we need to bring on cha for???
i feel really bad for him, hes quality, he bails us out time and time again when called upon, dont see a problem with giving him a run out for 10 or 20 minutes a game to keep him sharp. -
-
hes * anyway. hate it when he plays.

McCourt needs to sort himself out before he should be playing for us. If he doesn't want to give up smoking/drinking excess amounts, then he doesn't deserve to be playing week in, week out.

I love Paddy and just wish he would get more game time when possible. -

Not good enough. I actually wonder if he'd even be good enough for the championship, not many teams down there could afford a luxury player like him and he'd end up in the same positions he is here.
I'd say the SPL is perfect for him, a team like Hibs. -
He'll play his part.

if i remember correctly, cha actually had a decent couple of games for us but was dropped for the old firm.
i like paddy, and happy for him to be at celtic, but i dont think 4-4-2 is the right formation for him to play, he should be playing either behind the strikers or the wide man in a front 3, buuuttt .. it's up to him. i cant see us changing our formation just to accomodate him, and cant see him being a first team player, so if he's looking for first team football ( which i seem to remember him saying at the start of the season? ) then he should move, and i wouldnt have a problem with it tbh.
good player, but we have alot of good players at celtic, and we cant play all of them!
