Just in from the shop and seen the back page of the daily ranger ( I know), but it said Wanyama wants to leave for England.
Didn't read the full article, just the back page. Probably been taken out of context as usual, but * me...got me a bit worried because I think Vic is one of our best players, and at such a young age. He is such a talent and rarely put a foot wrong. Really stepped up in Kayal's absence and was just such a force.
What do Bhoys & Ghirls think?

Havent read it but i'll assume he said he'd like to play in england someday (Meaning the future) which we all knew anyway, then the journo twisted the headline to get attention.

I'd be more than gutted to see him leave. He's amazing. -
This -
They can't all be like Johnny Doyle or more recently Emilio.
I think Big Vic is one of our more loyal and trustworthy players in the squad though.
I loved watching him dance around the SPL trophy. -

- I'm not picky.
Hopefully we can keep him for a good few years because he's was excellent for us this year. -

The daily * likes to stir *.
-
Yamha loves it here, he has reiterated that numerous times throughout the season.
This year, he has a crack at the Champions League.
Thinking rationally, I'd say this article is utter horseshit. -

Absolute bullshit!. Victor rejected EPL clubs to come to us as he felt he wasn't ready for the EPL; are they trying to tell us after one year he is ready?. Weird how these stories never seem to turn up about Hun players.
-
Even if true - he won't be leaving on the cheap........so English clubs better be prepared to pay close to £10m.......or * off:bbpd:

Just the daily ranger making up * again, trying to unsettle the Hoops because their beloved club is going down the *.
Not one quote from anyone connected to the club, Victor or more importantly, his agent. All they have is
A friend of Wanyama’s said last night: “Victor has told a few of his international
team-mates he believes he is moving to the English Premiership this summer. He wants to play in England.
“He has sometimes felt undervalued but he really enjoyed last season at Celtic and it was an honour and privilege for him to help them win the league title.
“He also felt he built up a special relationship with the Celtic supporters.
“Victor hopes they can understand his reasons for wanting to leave."
A friend, really! I wish I had chosen scottish sports journalism as a career.
Typical day,
11.30am Wake up
12.30pm Head to pub.
16.30pm With a few beers in me, make * up. mmm Bill Gates and Donald Trump have announced they are going to buy rangers, clear their debt and pump £60 billion into the warchest, how to sell this now, ahh, "a Friend/ close colleague/insider said this was true.
17.30pm Phone call from editor, not even the most loyal bear will swallow swallow this, need a new story.
18.00pm Five Celtic players to leave this summer, top striker Hooper, Wanyama, Kayal, Izaguirre and Charlie Mulgrew have formed a pack and want to leave Celtic to pursue careers at the top level of the Championship in england. A top level source inside Celtic Park said "aye they really really want to leave so they do"
18.30pm Story filed and editor happy. Time to get pished! -
Well it's in the record and their source is a 'friend'. They can't possibly be making up stories to sell copies of their *-stained rag, can they?
