    I was talking to a friend of Wanyamas yesterday and he told me that we accepted a 30mil bid from Barca for Vic but Vic told Barca to GTF because they only offered him twice as much as Messi is on!

    Wanyama is probably the most humble footballer in the modern game, I can guarantee you he feels very very grateful to Lenny for taking him over and giving him his big chance. Vic will leave Celtic, he will go to a big club and it will be for big money, but not this summer.

    You can understand why other teams would want to take him but FFS these are the sort of players we should be looking to build the team around!!!

    We can't bring in guys like this and let them leave so quickly!!!

    He is a current & future star - but Celtic are a massive club - just unfortunately playing in feckin diddy league!!!

    If we have any ambition we should be looking to keep the big man - and even if there is any truth to this pathetic excuse of a story, then wages should be adressed...

    I would give him a promise that a new & improved contract will be offered before Christmas if he keeps up current form!!!

    He has the most potential in our team and will go the furthest, so he should therefore go for the highest fee. I honestly think this lad could end up at the very top if he works hard enough. Some talent but I hope he stays for at least 2 more years

    He should probably go for more than McGeady went for.
    There's half a dozen players in our team right now we can get over 10 mill for when they reach their potential, it's really brilliant. I just hope we get at least 1 good CL campaign out of them all before selling and reinvesting.

    (1) The background to the Wanyama scare story in the DR today is the agent contacted Celtic informing them that HE had interests in Victor..

    Makes perfect sense and goes along with the DR's policy of trying to stir up * involving Celtic.

    Before a derby match they will print all the stories about fights and red cards etc in the past, for example. The * gutter scumbags.
