No, not for the reason most will state either.

Not a fan of revisiting ex managers or players. We keep moving forward. Always.

Plenty other options available that can keep us on top in Scotland and take us deeper in Europe competitions, whilst playing good attacking football.

If the board appoint him, then I and the rest of you have absolutely no say in it whatsoever.

That being said, I'd have to back him, although I'd never trust him again.

The football in his last season was largely * alongside the fact he * off during the night. We could never trust a word to come out his mouth.

Then again his record was incredible he won everything available to him.

I don't think I could have him back it would to weird and awkward

Yep. Wouldn’t be my first choice but if he’s appointed then we would have to.

No, don’t like him as person and don’t rate him as a coach.

He has successfully fooled many people into thinking he’s a top coach. And made a tidy little fortune for himself in the process. Fancy Dan, but an empty suit.

Get this as far to * He left us in the lurch and now he's unemployed and why would we take someone back who couldn't get away quick enough.
This would bring back toxicity back into the club after the Lennon situation and split the support big time .

Think I've said this before, but he is the MonoRail guy from the Simpsons.

A charlatan and con-man. Reminds me of those * that fool daft old millionaire woman in America into thinking he's James Bond or something, aye of course it's a whirlwind romance, geez her the best oral she's ever had, then gets married and on the wedding night, she's stood in the bedroom wae her tightest corset oan and he's * off oot the windae laughing like * cause he persuaded her to get shot of the prenuptial agreement!

    No.

Even aside from the Danny McGrain sized elephant in the room, I don’t think he’s the right fit for now.

The one reason I hesitate is I wonder if he would do a good job with our recent association with Japan/Korea.

But as I said on the other thread, he got bored quickly here and he’ll drop the standards while looking for a new job in England.

Don't think it's a simple question. Would I take him back ahead of an exciting young manager with new ideas? No. Would I take him back ahead of the kind of established names we have a realistic chance of getting if we go down that route? Yes. Definitely.

So don’t want him back, but we would have to accept it. Not as if we would stop going to games. If only Lustig could manage, at least we could believe what he says.

According to McGowan he’s taking a year off after being sacked by Leicester. Hope this is true.

It would be awkward. Like taking back a cheating ex.

Everyone would be looking at us thinking we are fannys.

It’s one of those where I’d rather not, but if he did come back then yes I’d accept him because there’s no other option.

I know this might sound crazy, but I actually think I'd prefer Lennon back instead of Rodgers.

Aye, Lennon's an kind-of-alcoholic dinosaur, but at least you could see through his inept ramblings and know that he's trying to win a game a fitba.

Rodgers is the kind of * that would steal steal the sparkle from a child's eyes simply because he could see his own reflection in them

Absolutely not. I'm not one for looking back and would prefer we moved on.

We are a stepping stone for players and managers now. It's a sad fact but that's where Celtic fit into this modern football hierarchy that's driven by TV money.

I've said loads before Rodgers should have seen out the season and that's his only crime. Seen on another thread some of the players he wanted and some he ended up with is embarrassing.

Loan players like Toljan and Burke ffs.

Selling Dembele on deadline day to then spend a few pence on Bayo. Have Shved bought for you even tho you didn't want or need him.

The John McGinn saga says it all about our club back then.

Not defending him but most managers would have * off as well even without a multi million pound offer from England.

Yes. He's an elite-level coach who players enjoy working with.

    The alternatives are terrifying.
