Would you accept Rodgers back as manager?

Don’t want him back but wouldn’t stop going to the games, don’t think anyone would.

I want knutsen or another progressive manager in, hopefully soon.

 

He wouldn’t necessarily be my choice; but if he’s the best available to us then I’d absolutely have him back.

 

No for me. He'd likely do well for a season, then when it came to recruitment the next season * it up wasting millions then leave for the first EPL team to sniff around after firing their manager.

I'd also be very surprised if DD would have any dealings with him after the way he left last time, so I just can't see it happening anyway.

If it's instead of someone like Knutsen/Muscat/Corberan, then absolutely not.

If it's instead of Moyes, Clark or Keane? Absolutely.

Depends who we are looking at but would genuinely rather give Muscat a chance than Rodgers right now.

I personally wouldn't want him back but if we go for the likes of Knutsen, Potter etc.. And they all knock us back he's probably the next best option

 

Difficult one as my heart tells me i 100% would not want him back but my head tells me he has a great domestic track record with us.

My issue with Rodgers, is and always has been, that he is tactically naive and has no alternative way of playing. We will get spanked in europe unless he can play a more defensive/counter attacking style of play away from home.

He also now has a track record of being poor with a transfer budget at Liverpool, with us and now at Leicester.

I really hope we look elsewhere as he put himself before the club in the past and someone would be deserving of the oportunity.

As I've touched on in a few other threads, I sincerely hope the Rodgers links are merely lazy journalism.

I was one of the more laid back fans when he left, I didn't buy into his bullshit that he said in interviews, no way was he staying for 10. All of the leaving halfway through a season aside, it's a step backwards.

We need to move forwards, somebody expansive, progressive and exciting, ideally who has been in and around the champions league and has won a domestic title, in a market we can take advantage of.

If we get a guy from English football, we are largely competing in a ridiculously inflated market. It's not like the MON days where we can sign a Chelsea striker for 6 million quid. You're looking at O'Riley type gems and guys on loan which is * difficult.
