I'd back him if it happened but I don't want him back. Would be a bit weird.

Dunno but I have a feeling it was after he left us for them. I think really that we as a support need to stop putting these people on a pedestal. Football is a business and these guys are as ambitious as anyone in any field. Managers themselves need to stop promising the fans the earth as well. I have no doubt that if he does come back he will be very successful all over again. I'm at the point where that's all I'm asking of a manager now. I wont buy into the hype anymore. We need to continue on our way to becoming the "new" worlds most successful club:56:Telling you Scottish football want to put a halt our running the show so we need a winner.

Hopefully he realises what he lost when he left us, and also the harsh cut throat reality of life in the EPL.

As if our opinion matters anyway, DD will bring in who he wants no matter what the fans think.

I’ve heard on good authority that Brendan Rogers has been offered the
    @CelticFC
managers job & it’s just a matter of time before it’s confirmed.

    Just can't get enough
What anoyed me about Rodgers was he KNEW he was going. So he could have went earlier and at least given the new manager/ caretaker, the Jan transfer window.

    But he didn't.

Last time he signed we filled the stadium to welcome him, if he does come back we'd be lucky to fill a phone box.

For the younger members a phone box was a small cubicle that contained a phone- normally vandalized- and other items such as the remaims of a fish supper empty cans of Super Lager, loads of vomit a puddle of * and sometimes a few turds.

    Ah the Good Old Days.

Not for me,the guy thought nothing of leaving us when he did and i dont see why we should even be considering him.I mean imo hes not even that good a manager ,put it this way from what we can see there no other club chasing his signature.

Spurs didnt seem to be interested in him, they went for Ange instead, tells ye what they thought of Rodgers.

The more I think about it, if it isn’t going to be Knutsen, who would be my top choice, I’d probably take Rodgers. Realistically, he is probably still very close to as good as we could hope for I think. I think it would continue domestic success also. Europe there is of course still question marks.

aye but if ange fails spurs wont really lose face as he's an unknown quantum in the EPL and they will see it as taking a punt that might bear fruit.

I would take BR even if it is in the short term because it looks like that's the way it's always going to be for our club. As I said already it doesn't do to get too emotionally invested as we've found to our cost. We need someone who is capable and has proved to have been a success with us before and tbh I would have him over Lenny

Absolutely. I'm sure something went on in the board room with us before BR left. Not that he needed that excuse as I said they're all ambitious.

Can he win us the league? Definitely

Can he progress us in Europe? Doubtful

And he would rip up the foundations that Ange put in. We need Ange's successor to be someone who can pick up the torch

Also He's a better manager than 2016/2017 BR. Won F.A Cup and top 5 spot twice for Leicester.
