my last thread was about tm and his masterplan and what we all thought about it, a lot of people wanting him out and while its not my opinion i can see why, if he was to go Who would come in, i just cant think of anyone and no stupid shouts cos we all know we wont get a a-list manager

Slaven Bilic.
-
Mate, asking the Manager-Must-Go brigade for a sensible alternative is like asking a lynch mob for a year-end self-review... -
haha true buddy, slaven billic dunno, no for me
-
I like Bilic, he's a charismatic guy, but he has never managed a football club in his life (unless we count a few games as caretaker manager for his old club Hajduk).
I remember when people were giving it the Strachan-must-go. When you asked them who would be a better replacement it was either:
a) Mourinho, Wenger, Bill Shankly etc
b) Henrik, Lubo, Lenny
or the most popular option
c) No response -

No one, he's still the manager right now and its disrespectful to even think about another manager right now.

2. Mark Hughes
3. Craig Levein
4. Neil Lennon / Paul Lambert
5. David Moyes -
Give him until December and see what happens, We are starting to look like a team now with January signings getting settled, We have now until the end of the season to start to look like a force and convince the doubters and get everyone behind us for next season

I dont get this give him till december pish, what if he * up and we end up like we are now? That would be another season up the *. Celtic should evaluate things at the end of the season see where were at. If he goes at any time then it should be then.
Personally I dont think hes up to it but thats another thread. -
I don't get all the love in for Bilic, yes he's a character but he has no experience of club football and therefore would be a bigger risk than most others, what if he can't work within strict budgets, what if he has problems dealing with players on a daily basis instead of a few times a year, what if he turns out not to be able to spot a decent player outwith his own country? Too many what if's for me.
I like him but he's too much of an unknown in terms of club football imo, a good international manager does not automatically make a good club manager.
Neil Lennon and Paul Lambert are too inexperienced imo.
Craig Levin has just taken the Scotland job and therefore is unlikely to leave that so soon although he would have been a shout.
David Moyes we couldn't afford.
Mark Hughes I'm not convinced would want a move to the SPL or that we could afford the transfer budget he'd be expecting. -
Problem is nearly half the starting 11 is on loan and will be away again come summer -

I'll probablly get slated for this and a no it would never happen but a think Alex McLeish would do a good job
-
which is why he needs this summer, if he gets his final pieces and fails time to go, but we have to give him the chance, i think anyway !!
