A lot of talk and praise going to Ronny and JC and rightly so, but John Kennedy is a big part of the coaching staff and deserves some recognition.
I'm absolutely delighted for him. He was cut down way before his prime but he got up, dusted himself off and is making a career for himself in the game he loves.
Future Celtic manager I hope.

I hope so. It still sickens me to think about how it turned out for him and for us. He would probably be wearing the armband tomorrow night if not for his injuries.
Ronny has him in charge of our set plays and for the most part we have been excellent both attacking and defending these lately. We may have conceded here against Inter but id say that was more individual error than system related.
Future gaffer for sure -
He was a good player, it's not just nostalgia. He very well could be Celtic captain just now. * tragic what happened.
He's not got that first team gig on some mercy mission either, he's earned that and fair do's to him for it. It couldn't have been easy getting over his injury, but he's forging a whole new career for himself.
Glad to have him here. -
Just look at what the man done after his testimonial. Class act
-
The chances are he'd of been playing at a much higher level tbh, he looked like he could go on and become another john terry, outstanding young talent. That night in the nou camp was just an absolute masterclass by him at such a young age. He may well have stayed and we'd of been lucky to have had him, but I think he was destined to go right to the very top.

If i remember right he was keeping Mjalby out of the team for a while. No easy feat

Still haunts me that we had David Marshall on the books yet persisted with Douglas, Hedman et al. Martin really couldnae spot a keeper eh? :smiley-laughing002: -

The work and effort he has put in to get where he is so far is amazing considering how abruptly his career ended, can easily see him making his way up the pecking order in due course.

If you're good enough and all that. -

Funny how things work out isn't it? In a strange roundabout way, maybe his injury has been 'good' for him (for lack of a better word). It's maybe given him some extra drive to succeed that he may or may not have had before, who knows.
All I know is, he's proven himself to be a more than adequate coach and I'm delighted he's on board. As you say, I could definitely see him as a future Celtic manager. We shall see. -
He could have been our number one for a couple of years before that. -
* aye, this is the Kennedy thread. Going on about Marshall. :smiley-laughing002:
He is in charge of set pieces now and I think we can all agree we are much better in this department, especially in defence, so he has to take huge credit for that.
