Be interesting to see if there's a role under the new regime..

Think he's fancied as a cheap longterm solution...

I think he should go with the others. One of our let downs this season was the defence, and by all accounts he was responsible for this.

Although it's terribly sad; he has barely played any first team football himself and has virtually no experience as a professional footballer. Don't understand how people think he can coach this team without experience himself.

Quite frankly if you were kennedy would you go?

He's qualified for * all, he wouldnt get a mop job at burger king ffs.

He should be demoted from the first team asap and put into the boot room... and be grateful for it.

Worst "defensive" coach in the history of defensive coaches.

Well until we actually invested in a good reliable centre half in Erik. Once Virgil was gone we had Efe, Boyata, Blackett and an injury prone Jozo and Mulgrew was out completely. Not many defensive coaches could make a good reliable defence out of them.

A good defensive coach should be able to at least get them to be able to defend a corner.. we are all at sea with them!!!

I'm not buying that. People make far too many excuses for the team. Had we been humiliated in the group stages against the likes of Real Madrid and Bayern Munich then fair enough, but we were leaking shocking goals against the likes of Kilmarnock and Hamilton etc. Those players you mentioned should be able to handle Scottish Premiership strikers.

There was absolutely no direction, no leadership, no communication and farcical defending in general this season in virtually every cup tournament we played in. And the management and coaching staff need to take a huge portion of the blame. We've all seen * defenders punch well above their weight because of how organised they were told to be and how what their job was drummed into them and explained. Our defenders look like they aren't professional footballers sometimes.

I would have a right good clear out of all the * in our team that is costing the club money, but I would firstly clear out the * manager and coaching staff which is happening shortly thank *.

He's a likeable guy, but is anyone else concerned about the lack of any sort of defensive structure under JK as defensive coach?

It's happening on a far too frequent basis in Europe and it seems like the players almost don't know what sort of system they're supposed to be playing.

He isn’t ‘defensive coach’ he’s first team coach.

Fair enough, but he's responsible for the defence regardless of the title.

Big JK doing the media due to Rodgers' sore throat I'd imagine. Just a wee thumbs up for the big man, really glad he's still there and doing his thing. Top man.
