Can just remember my brother jumping about the house one day because Celtic had went top of the league and the joy in his face made me want to be part of it. So I asked him to tell me what was happening. This was during the Tommy Burns era so his joy wasn't to last for long. But I will never forget that day for as long as I live. I was about 4 or 5.
The next week me and my brother came home from my Gran and Grandas and they pretended that my brothers Celtic top got shrunk in the wash. It just so happened that it fit me:56: The inocence in me told me not to ask for it because my brother would have been upset. But I was almost in bits when they said they were going to throw it out:54:
And then they brought out my brothers normal top and I think I cried:56::56: -

Playing Atletico Madrid in a Euro match many years ago. A. Mad. were the dirtiest team I have ever seen. I can still see that image of Jinky tearing down the wing and being deliberately sythed down at knee height.
Anyone know any details? Year, etc.? -
I was three years old and my dad was watching a football game on the tv.
Me "whats the name of them" (pointing at tv)
My Dad "Celtic and Hibs"
Me "Who do you like"
My Dad "Celtic"
Me "Me too"
And that's how I became a bhoy... It would've been 1994 I think... -
