I have to say I thought the ref Craig Thomson had an excellent game today, and I think he deserves some praise for handling this game so professionally.
He got most of the big decisions right, and stood up fairly and was counted.
Well done ref :50:

Least he could do was give the penalty. He should have given Bougherra a second yellow surely.

He done well could maybe have sent Bougy off but he done well , there was no real nasty side in this game at all so never had a lot to deal with .
-
* only knows why he didnt send that big * off
-
He had a great game, not just saying that because we won.

who would of thought there would be a thread praising the referee on the day of an old firm game at ibrox.
-
He couldn't not give that penalty. Bogey should have been sent off.

made one or two mistakes but other than that! called the game fairly(nice wee change right enough)

Managed to remember that people were there to watch Celtic v Rangers and not him. Should have sent off bougherra for a second yellow, considering he booked a celtic player for a similar offence 5 minutes. Done alright.

Refs are never going to have perfect games, this guy todays performance was good though,Bougherra was lucky not to get sent off(again) but a couple of our players were lucky not to get carded for some of the challenges too.

The ref had a decent game overall, although he could've booked a couple of their players

not happy that it's come to us wondering having to hope that the refs do their jobs that they should be doing. But as much as he had a decent game, he could have sent bougherra off.

he had a decent game i agree

The second yellow for Bougy was questionable, Samaras was up there on his own and it looked like he tried to at least get the ball.
I was worried about the ref before the game, especially after reading an article on CQN about the refs previous statistical bias in favour of the huns (albeit over such a small resultset the statistics could not to be taken as proof of anything).
But overall I think the ref had a good game, to be fair it was a more tame than usual Old Firm game with only 5 yellows and there were not a lot of hard decisions to make. The hardest was giving the penalty which was an absolute stone waller. -
-
He also booked Mulgrew for nothing when he was booking Bougin early on.
-
Thought he had a great game, just thought Bougherra should of had a 2nd yellow for the Penalty..
-
Decent game, first time in a while we didn't have major decisions against us. Lafferty's dive was good decision, as was our penalty. Overall good performance and he let some tougher challenges go by.
Although I think Bougherra deserved to walk.
