Ryan Christie
Celtic have launched a bid for Inverness Caledonian Thistle midfielder Ryan Christie and hope a cash offer of £500,000 with a clause to loan the 20-year-old back to their Scottish Premiership rivals for the rest of the season can secure the midfielder's signature. (Daily Star, print edition)
Sounds like a good deal, let him continue to develop there. We have a lot of midfielders right enough and Allan just in but I like the look of Christie.

Have'nt seen much of him but he is thought of highly, seems to have a bit of pace and took his goal well against us.

Good player, but if we are short of cash I think spending £500k on a player to loan them back to ICT isn't the best way to spend it. Need to take care of the present first before concerning ourselves with the future.

Decent player but * me we need a left back, striker, defensive mid and a replacement for VVD way befor this.
-
Think if are looking to sign him it could possibly mean Johansen is wanting to move on or the club is looking to cash in on him.
-
Another project, when do these projects get us into the champions league ?

Jesus did we not learn anything from Tuesday night??? We need experience within the side, I know our policy is to buy young and sell on but * me we can't play with a whole load of kids and projects all the time. What does this mean for Rogic, Allen, Henderson when he returns, McGregor etc etc. We need an experienced CB, one that can help Boyata and take control of the back 4, someone in the mould of Kelvin Wilson when we signed him (I mean his attributes not the fact he had a stocking first season). We need another LB and probably RB because of Luistig's injury issues not another * project………so frustrating!!!!!!!
-
How the * is signing this guy frustrating?
Catch a grip :56: -
Yes from me, good player.
You only had to watch our game against Caley at home to see the difference the guy made to them within about a minute of coming on the park. -
Our general signing targets is frustrating….all kids no experience we will not improve in the short to medium term.
-
Yey another midfielder
-

Another midfielder, another youngster with no international or European experience.
I don't mind one or two of these types of players but filling your team with them is * dangerous. -
Another midfielder...... shock horror. It's like last season with signing loads of wingers....... clearly need a centre half, left back and a forward but we will go out and sign another midfielder.......
If this happens it shows people are * clueless at the club. -
Think we need a season from now to judge ronny
Bringing in Scottish players and playing them in Europe this season to be ready for champions league
Will do wonders for Scottish team if it works not unlike the Lisbon lions -
Not only filling our team, we would have one at hibs one at Inverness one at St Johnstone, and a few others, overloading on projects, fair enough these players are better out playing, but we need quality experienced players as of now in the first team.
