I'd like to see us freshen things up for this one. I think McDonald needs a rest for one, and I'd like to see Hutchison get a game with Samaras not on form either. Jan needs games to get his sharpness back.
Without knowing how Brown is doing it's impossible to comment on the midfield but my suspicious is he'll be alright. If he's not, I'd like to see Robson and Hartley in the middle (Robson being the most qualified to deal with big bad Bob in the 4-1-4-1 they're going to play, Hartley more used to playing on swamplands than Crosas, who clearly struggled at Hampden in similar circumstances).
McGeady should be fully fit and ready for action after what was effectivley a weekend off and we might see Flood or Mizuno come back in ahead of Nakamura, who must be absolutley exhausted. -

Robson is injured and going for surgery and as far as I know, Hutchinson is out on loan and or injured.
-
Hutchinson was on the bench yesterday.

I'm mistaken then.

Dreading this game. The pitch is beyond a joke, and Motherwell away is tough enough.
Rangers at home to Kilmarnock on the Saturday. We could be going into this game with them on top of the league. -

Well the good thing about that is the fact that our players are mentally strong enough to not let Rangers being temporarily top of the league bother them.

Surely Hutchinson can do no worse than the current front two, Id say Hutchinson and McDonald upfront and possibly Mizuno in the team as well, We need to freshen It up.
-
go celtic
-
As for the team, changes are clearly needed. Not one of our three strikers deserves to keep their place, but I'd put money on McDonald and JVoH starting any way. -

My team would be
Boruc
Hinkel Mick Caldwell Naylor
Flood Naka Hartley/brown McGeady
Hutchenson Skippy
Bench: Brown, McCourt, Loovens, JVOH, Sammi, Mizuno -
I aint confident at all. We need to step up a few gears, and Motherwell like other sides will raise their game against us.
At the moment, i cant see our form improving.
Sorry for the negativity, but im * off. -
We'll have them. We usually get a win at Fir Park. (Nobody mention " that " game)
I'd like to see..
Boruc
Hinkel
Naylor
Caldwell
McManus
Nakamura
Flood/Maloney/McGeady
Brown
Crosas
McDonald
Hutchinson (Sheridan got his chance, so why not Ben?)
I'd also like to see Koki back in the team, done nothing wrong and he gets dropped for 3 months ffs. -

Will be like playing swamp football on this one.
Expecting a 1-0 win, but for it to be dragged out with a horrible performance football wise. -

The pitch is the main concern so id drop the likes of Aiden and Naka!
Boruc
Hinkel McManus Caldwell Naylor
Brown Crosas Hartley Flood
Samaras Hutchinson
Change the squad a little and have
McDonald, J.VOH, Brown, Mizuno, O'Dea & McGeady on bench! -

the pitch, injurys and tiredness and lack off form, will all play a major part in the team selection.i'd like to see us play
...................................................boruc......................................................
hinkel................caldwell................................mcmanus...........................naylor
................flood......................hartley..........................brown..........................
...............samaras...................hutchinson.....................skippy.........................
the game isnt for the flair players,so id keep naka, koki and aiden for the bench alongside jan and odea.the usual back four would keep the stability, flood, hartley and brown should run the centre off midfield, and with the 3 lads upfront,we should hopefully get the goals.i some times think sami comes to deep to pick the ball up,and often runs the channels, but in this formation it would be perfect.plus it wouldnt be what motherwell would expect,so would totally throw their game plan.
i dont expect gordon to change from 4-4-2,but i think we have become too predictable.
