    Thoughts?

34 years old but looks like he can still do a job. Out of contract in the summer.

Loan move not an option for obvious reasons - perhaps a knock down price though for an 18 month deal?

I think we could do with some experience and whilst a 34 year old would not be my first choice, he certainly wouldn't be the worst signing we've made!

But at the same point, kinda against the Lenny ethos of long term, build for the future...

    Hail Hail

One of the best at what he does. This would be a great signing imo.

Would certainly offer something different and he's a real handful. He'd probably be pretty effective for us, coming off the bench.

I'm just not convinced this is the right route to take though.

Would do a job short term,
Sunderland, West Brom and Wolves are 3 of the clubs that want Kevin Davies.

Good player, would love him here but i think he'll stay in the EPL if a team wants him enough. Sunderland, probably.

Knocks defenders off balance and could get a few goals. This could be his last move so he may be wanting a contract for at least a couple of seasons.

I wouldn't complain about this signing, aye he might be getting on a bit but he's a good pro and the type of forward we should be looking at.
My main concern would be cost. His wages would be pretty high and it's up to him; would he like to make a decent wage up here maybe get some silverware on his shelf, of would he like to keep his good wage and flounder in the EPL for his last couple of seasons?

He is an ideal player that we could do with, i wouldn't say not to an 18 month deal, he would be effective in the SPL thats for sure.

He would be a good short term option but if another English club comes in for him in the summer then I think he would stay down there

Yes please ! Either him or Salihi and I'm a happy man.
Of course, I would prefer Cisse but it will not happen

This is more like it, a proven player who would hit the ground running straight away and has the attributes we are looking for in a striker, Hooper would be the ideal foil for him, not getting my hopes up tho I think it would be a great move for him never mind us.

Would take him in a heartbeat, the big commanding and bullying presence weve been needing for ages. I've been wanting him for years.

Depending on his wage demands, this would be a good move I think, probably still has 1 or 2 good seasons left, and adds extra options up front, would like to see him don the hoops I think.
