The Hooper rumour has turned into an extraordinary one, i figured he would be done and sealed somewhere by now.

The player and agent are taking their time to see what offers he gets. Everyone would do the same. Its still early in the transfer window too.

He scores goals for fun for a * team in the Championship, still a young lad, whether he can bang in the goals up here I'm not sure.

The championship is probably on a par with the spl so if he can score goals with a * team imagine what he would do up here

good player proven in the championship, but i would rather us spend 2million on Stokes a player that we already know can score in the spl .

I haven't really seen enough of the guy to pass judgement on him. But he's at a decent age and English. If he ended up turning in to a good player up here then you know you would be able to sell him on at a premium.

got speakin to my pal who is a die hard leeds fan, reckon leeds was lining this bpy up as a direct replacement for beckford ( who looked quality) but apparently their chairman bates us put off by the price tag but has been in talks for months, anyway a whole host of championship sides are after him and apparently he is well rated

Middlesboro was also interested, not they are a good team or anything. He almost went there apparently until Boyd signed for them.
