Cud not agree more the big thing for the 1st half of last season and the season b4 was that we cudnt score. Stokesy wud defo do a job domestically and he is still young enough to improve for the european scene. After all we need sum1 to do it in the bread and butter games cant stand the thot of they * across the water getting another 1. Look what happened when we never went for Fletcher we were left wit Hess and Sami I fear for our attacking options this year if we dont get a goal scorer lets face it keane and bellamy will prob remain in the epl.

stokes is rubbish !!!!! anytime he has went up a level he hasnt done it. didnt score at arsenal, 3 goals in 38 apps at sunderland, 0 goals in 12 apps at sheff utd, 1 goal in 13 apps at crystal palace. yeah he has scored a few goals in the spl but who the * hasnt??? chris killen banged in as many for hibs before we signed him and we know how bad he was. stokes isnt and never will be good enough to play for celtic.

he aint good enough ! end of story. just because he has scored a few goals in this poor league dont make him a player. lets go sign craig dargo aswell. he has scored more than a few goals in the spl. maybe get john daly and kevin kyle in too. wheres david clarkson these days?? maybe we could sign him too?? what the facination with stokes is on here is baffling?? maybe try watching him now and again to see how poor he is

Falkirk 18 starts 18goals , hIbs 43, starts 23goals , now with our service the lad would easily smash that , add to that the amount of chances we make compared to HIbs and Falkirk,
maybe try watching him now and again to see how poor he is
Ive watched him i aint just looking at * youtube and saying aye he looks class or using fm , He has stood out v us and the huns , Always puts a shift in has good amount of pace power and is strong , good on the deck decent in the air fantastic movement has the nack of scoring all types of goals not just tap ins ,

Main answer would be wasnt used a striker , games i saw him at Sunderland was used a wide player , duno about the rest , the lad also was young and has even said him self his head wasnt in the game back then , but he is now settled and you can see that on the park ,

Kinda the same way and reason we bought Skippy. He scored goals for a diddy team and kept tehm safe. I think Hooper could do a job. Still young, scored a good amount of goals for a very mediocre team that kept them in teh division. It pretty much is a Skippy situation. Could well score a barrel load in the SPL given the service.
I know I'm using the comparison to skippy but it's kinda the same. Skippy played at Well and scored a decent amount so why can't this guy?

How do you know? Not beong cheeky or anything but how? You may have read what I said about McDonald, no one knew he would score a * load for us coz he came from motherwell. Hooper may come here and score 25-30 a season. If we sign him I might not expect 30 a seaosn but he could.
