Only seen some highlights of Leipzig domestically and a couple of CL games. This will be a hard match.

Hard to argue against that team after today.

    Very. Very. Very.

    • Until today Leipzig were undefeated in the Bundesliga since February. They're still sitting 2nd, behind only Bayern.
    • Lost today to Borussia Dortmund, so they will be stinging from that.
    • Have lost their 3 CL games so far - to Atletico Madrid, Juventus & Liverpool. All heavyweights.
So even if before today they were already eyeing Celtic, now they will be even more so.

And BR had to get the Bhoys heads in the right headspace. If they think that what they did today is just rolling up and repeating what they did today, then we could be looking at another sore one. If we go into that game with the fight and determination at the back that we had at Atalanta, then... then we can look at getting forward, but we need to be solid, compact and resolute and build from that.

Will be really tough, they've lost their previous 3 games so this is essentially a must win for them.

    Schmeichel
    Johnston CCV Trusty Valle
    McGregor
    Engels Hatate
    Kuhn Kyogo Maeda
Really harsh on Scales but id try and keep our momentum going. Idah, Bernardo, McCowan, Forrest and Scales off the bench, 2-1 us.

A massive test for us and we will need to be right at it to get anything from the game. Any positive result here puts us in a cracking position whether it’s a win or a draw.

If we somehow pull of a win it would be a real statement result for the team.

I agree and hope that today doesn't go to anyone's head. If we can hold the defensive line I think we could pull a result, we do have a good counter-attacking side.

Think it has to be the same team..

Couldn't be going in to it in better form..

    Players settling
    Winning games
Clean sheets, including away at Atalanta that will give us confidence heading in to this
    Carter-Vickers back
    Front 3 all scoring
    No injuries

I'd take a draw right now. That would be real progress. A win would be phenomenal..

Hope Kuhn really takes it to them being his ex academy side from his country..

Looking forward to it. Massive test but we're at home and a good side now that's learning from mistakes..

I'd be over the moon with a point.

We'll need to be on a game to get anything out of it.

It'll mean working hard off the ball and carrying some luck.

They've got the best defensive record in the Bundesliga so far this season, although Atalanta had the highest scoring record in Italy when we faced them and drew a blank

Last time Brendan managed against Leipzig at Celtic Park we got all 3 points, so hopefully a repeat of another 3 points again

Same team again except Engels will have to sit far deeper to help share the load with CalMac, can't be leaving CalMac isolated at the base of midfield with the athletic monsters Leipzig have, we'll be ran over the top of, I'm sure Brendan will be telling Engels to play similar to how he played away to Atalanta despite being at home this time

Openda and Sesko will be a real handful, done great to stifle Lookman and Retegui but Openda and Sesko will pose just as much if not more issues, will have to be switched on from first minute to last, Schmeichael will need another big game too, big bonus that Xavi Simons won't be playing as he's a top talent

We’re on 4 points, 2 wins and we’re definitely through so i’d go for it, another point won’t mean much in the grand scheme of things. 2-1 Celtic.

Openda and sesko the obvious threats. Seen some clips of openda against Liverpool. He is rapid and looks a bit of a nightmare to deal with. I reckon the back 4 that started tonight starts against them to try deal with the pace and power

As tough as it Comes from the remaining fixtures, said this is the home game we are most likely to drop points in but on a UCL night you just never know.

The dortmund game will put a fire in the belly for this one, that won’t happen again. (Fingers crossed) 2-1 Celtic

As tough a game as Atalanta or Dortmund, I'd honestly take the draw if you gave it to me now.
