He's been a top player for years and years at this stage..

Listened to their manager saying how good and quick we were and that it didn't surprise him now good we were..

We're genuinely a good side. Have loads of pace all over the side and the mist complete Celtic side I've seen in a long long time. Defensively right now. Pressing. Physicality. Ballers. Got a great blend and can/will improve in January..

Also a keeper who can beat a press with ease, as well as comfortable defenders..

 

Absolutely stunning performance from every position, i thought Saturdays play was exceptional until last night, never been so proud of the Bhoys in a long time after a European game.

 

I remember when we first ever played Salzburg. I thought Kampl and Mane at the time were unreal talents so direct, could dribble past half a team and pressed constantly. Also had Kampl as one of my favourite players back then.

 

The press for the second goal just sums us up. Kyogo sprinting at their keeper. Maeda pressing their fullback. Then supported with hatate and others. Was outstanding to watch and really just spoiled leipzigs night

 

Was that our most complete performance under Rodgers?

 

In Europe, definitely.

 

Would have been the easy option to just sit in a low block and try to absorb the pressure. Takes a lot of bravery to do that but we dominated them and the two goal difference did not flatter us.

 

We would beat any team in the world with that performance. And I am serious.

This guy gave me nightmares. Always seemed to pop-up with anything called 'Red Bull' and bossed us. Great to really batter them.

 

I can’t help it… I’m still buzzing about this win.

He’s also a player that we’ve played against a few times and he’s put us to the sword, also thought he was RBL’s best player along with Orban on the night. Two of them coped far better with our press than any of them, but Kampl in particular was * by about 70 minutes because he was trying to do everything for those who couldn’t cope. He was the one making them tick anytime we needed to close down them being dangerous. And that was * amazing to watch.

He’s one of those players because I’ve seen how good he is against us and the quality but he’s not the top top level of guys, has for a long time now just been consistently really good in his career at a high level without plaudits. He was my biggest worry seeing the lineups before the game.

And we * dominated, nullified and in the end up totally made him do what we want. Honestly, the performance and how that guy summed us up is something hard to match for totally dominating a quality team in the CL. Closest I can remember would be 3-0 against Benfica and the Lyon games before then. But it felt more deliberate, more controlled, more top level.
