The schedule could leave Celtic with as little as five days to recover before the first leg of their Champions League qualifier.
The runners-up in the SPL enter the tournament at the third qualifying round and will face a third-placed team from Russia or a runner-up for Ukraine, Holland, Romania, Portugal, Turkey, Greece, Belgium or Switzerland.

Yeah i'm the same too. Wouldn't want Russian or Ukranian. Knowing us though, we'll get the hardest tie possible!

Braga, Ajax, Zenit, Olympiakos and Dynamo. All difficult ties, as well as the romanian teams.
Would love to get into the CL. The real test is the 'arsenal' round. -
see if we get though to play off we could get spurs and see the return of keano
but all they teams above will give us a game,we are in no position to think we can beat anyone at the moment -

Which team will be the runner up in Belgium is far form certain. My home team Gent is currently second, but it could also be Club Brugge or Sint-Truiden. Celtic should be able to beat Gent or Sint-Truiden, but Club Brugge could be a bit more difficult. I have seen Anderlecht (league winners) play a couple of times this season and they would hammer Celtic for sure. A game between Celtic and Gent would be very interesting for me (remember that they already met in 1984).

Think we wont be seeded in both games.
Really want Manchester City finishing 4th in England cause we cant draw them as they would be unseeded also. Still could get 2 very hard matches. -

if we go out in the 3rd qualifying round? do we go into the europa agian?
-
i wouldnt mind getting * out of europe all together and just concentrating on the league

• The losing team from each of the UEFA Champions League play-off ties will go into the UEFA Europa League group stage.
Format on UEFA.COM -
According to the ET we only play 1 qualifying round against one of those teams. Read above. So apparently, no chance of facing a team from England.
Not sure why it's different but they didn't say we COULD face teams from. They've specifically stated we go into 3rd qualifying round to play one of those teams! -

If we go out in the 3rd qualifier, we will be seeded for the Europa League play-offs :50:
-
Ah my bad, it wasn't clear from the ET. Surely we can't be expected to play these teams in the initial round?
Last season Moscow was the hardest game we could have got compared to the others. This year seems like we will be playing much harder teams. I guess that means we are unseeded! -
i know the teams will be a wee bit diffrent but last season europa play offs had a few big names in there

Seems like a difficult road whatever the path to the CL proper.

We'll need ridiculous luck with the draw and on the pitch to get into the CL, we got neither this season.
Just cant see us doing it.
