We're not going to win the EL You get more money for getting to the CL last 16 than you do for getting to the EL final. And EL nights just aren't the same as CL... did we sell-out for any EL match last season?

Have to play one of; Zenit, Ajax, Dynamo Kiev, Braga or Fenerbache themselves in the 3rd qualifying round.


I guess we don't deserve to be in the CL if we get beat from them.

 

We will play either:
Zenit, Ajax, Fenerbahce, Dynamo Kiev and Braga

 

It's gonna be tough. I'm not sure, but we will miss EL if we don't go through the first qualifying round!?

I'll hope for Braga or Ajax.

 

I would rather the CL tbh. I get immensely proud of our support on CL nights, that got beamed across the world can actually bring a tear to the eye.

Go out in the 3rd round and we'll be in a qualifier for the Europa League (Which should be a pretty easy game), go out in the play-off round like last year and we go straight to the Europa groups.


I'd rather we got Zenit than Ajax TBH - we've knocked out 2 Russian teams in CL qualifying the last 3 seasons and I think we could do it again, they're not the team they were in 2008.

And Dynamo have inconsistent form in the CL

 

Hope we dont get Ajax. In first place because i'm an Ajax fan, and in second place because it'll be a very tough opponent. I hope for Club Brugge or Zenit.

Ah well, another season in EL wouldn't do us any harm, although it can cripple us financially. I'm looking forward to it, but it left a feeling of bitterness because of Fener result. We were so close before this game, everything seemed perfect, but then this happens...

Out of our potential opponents I don't think have much chances against any of them. But then again, we're pulled out greater results against giants in Europe than these qualifiers.

Once again we have Zenit, side in full swing and in top condition. I don't think we could stand a chance against them, gap in quality is just too big.

I think we could have realistic chances only against Fener and Braga. Hopefully we draw them.

 

no matter who we get it will be hard especially with the team we have at the moment!i think its all about domestic success more than europe next season for whoever comes in!
