I sit just infront of "The Comrades" and they were doing nothing wrong, well i suppose they were in the eyes of the Scummy Stewards, they were having fun how dare them!!! The police came up a couple of times and searched a few of them and left empty handed then a wee ugly specky steward comes up and takes the drum off them!!! And walks away laughin'. However it was good to see people trying to lift the atmosphere and it really lifted the others around about.

It doesn't say anywhere on my recent tickets that it's an offence to bring drums into the ground.

Power Hungry jobsworths!!
Flags were stopped, singing is scrutinised, now drums are getting confiscated!!
What is the problem with a drum anyway??
the police allow hundreds of them on our streets every july!!!
The club need to address this, it seems that when noise is generated it attracts the attention of the cops and stewards and they don't like it!!
It's your job, if there are no rebel tunes and no trouble leave us be!! -
Has this ever been raised by the Board ,in asking them why is it when a group of fans start to sing they either get pulled up by stewards or the police ,why im saying the board is ,it must come from them to instruct Stewards to act on this ?.

There are a minority that shout offensive words, and goud the police, which doesnt help, it just draws more attention.
Some ground rules need to be set, it has to be brought up at an AGM for anything to be done on my opinion.:50: -

I seen the comrades today at the game. Does anyone know if they are an ultra group, or if they have a political stance, if any?

They made quite a bit of noise, lets hope they're all celtic fans and nothing political. -

Well I will be approacing the board on the month of august 2010 to bring up a few tings. My first being the ongoing singing petiton I hope you have all signed and also topics like this. It is all orchastreaed from the board and the cops react on it and love it too and it really annoys celtic fans which will cause disaster one day but the board do not see it coming. It is people in suits and not street wise. We will be adressing this very soon please sign petition

Seems to be that you need to wear a sash to bang a drum:47:

Were is the heart of our club these days, if showing outward support for the team, you are harassed and have property confiscated, shame on who ever lets this happen,"we are Celtic supporters faithful through and through", do the board feel the same?.
if not the board who is responsible for the conduct of these so called Stewart's?. -
where exactly are these comrades?
-
The comrades where at the top corner of the Jock Stein stand. I sit in that stand every home game and there has been next to no atmosphere for MONTHS.
The Comrades created a fantastic atmosphere and alot of the Jock Stein stand joined in. I was shocked to see the drums took from them by the poilice.
I hope the Comrades continue to create that atmosphere they did on saturday, fantastic lads!:celt_2:
