    Let the people sing,
Good to hear that the comdrades made such a good impact after their first day. The JS was alot louder than usual due to them i think, which is great to hear. I hope they don't get put off with the hassle they get from the stewards though. If they persist long enough like other sections in the stadium, that side of the ground could really pick up atmsophere wise. If you sit near them join in and support these guys and hopefully the noise will return. Something is going to have to be done about these power-obsessed heavy-handed stewards also.:50:

sorry mate i disagree, i think drums help a lot with the atmoshpere, it keeps people in sync when singing and that stops the songs being sung way to fast :50: i agree with what JC said, if you sit in the areas around 122 join in with them, help the guys out, im actually trying to relocate to 122 just now :icon_mrgreen:

I sit quite near them , whats the chances of getting caught if me and my mate go up beside them when our seats are a wee bit along?

i've done a wee bit of research into this.....apparently the stewards have been given a directive from the club to remove the offending drum. the police and stewards have no problem themselves with it. but are simply following a directive from within celtic football club to have it removed.....so i'd like the club to come out and explain themselves please......we know you tune in.....so lets hear ye.

Aye, if your seats are closish, have a bash at singing from there. Try and spread the atmosphere out, no point in overcrowding as it will just bring more attention on the group.

its not an offensive weapon. the police havent a problem with them and therfor wont take them off anyone. is the club who have an issue. its the stewards who are simply following orders and are not to blame. its the club.......they need to be coming out and telling us why. stop focusing on the poor * who are only doing what they are told.....lets get the reason please.

They came from the singing section mate yes.

As for the band at Ibrox, the club advertised for bandsmen to come forward. They get a ticket and half time grub etc.

The bottom line is, the club don't want the support using drums, standing, singing. Heaven forbid we don't all sit on our arses eh.

if you were going to go along a bit you really have to wait about 20 minutes and make sure there are empty seats to go into and dont just go along and take some without finding out if the seat is taking or that, iv moved along to other sections of the ground before and havent had any trouble about it , well , stay away from the padded seats , turns out you need a pass :54:

Your right mate, the orders come from the control room. They've shafted us many times in the past year.

However, folk on this board have stated they witnessed the steward smiling etc as he took their gear off them. Alot of the stewards, certainly not all, have a major attitude problem - and that comes from personal experience.

The club should try to promote atmosphere like that in CP within reason. Fair enough if the chants were in bad taste or that but anything that helps to get bums back in those seats is a good thing!
