Does anyone know anything about Xbox's? My boyfriend's just broke for the second time...he's had it two years and the LED lights go all red and flash. He sent it away about three months ago and it had a motherboard failure...has anyone else had problems? I know they extended the warranty cos it was a known fault, but not twice in the same year surely?:31::38:

It happened to mine 3 weeks afer i got it ,microsoft wanted me to send it back to them but she took it back to tesco n went bush so they changed it that day

It supposedly happens a lot to Xbox 360's, over 15% of owners have had this problem, known as 'the red ring of death' because of the red light around the power button when it breaks.
The breakdowns happened to my friend and they came and collected it and fixed it but he still has the problems... -

mine * up * dark days without it couldn't be arsed sending it back so just bought a new one for about 100 quid you still get you three year warranty

The red lights are quite common really with the xbox 360's. Mines broke down at the end of last year but now Ive moved to Spain i didnt want to send it away to get repaired so i ended up just getting a new one. the new xbox 360's with the falcon chip in it are meant to be more reliable :bbpd:
