Would we win the SPL without any more signings, the current squad looks so superior to what we have seen tonight (Manky Mob v Kaunas), they look a team that would struggle to finish 2nd this year.
Discuss Would we get away with it. in the Celtic Chat area at TalkCeltic.net.

I think there's no doubt we'd win with the players we have just now.
-
No. We still need a centre back (Tamas), left back, central midfielder (Crosas) and maybe a striker to be sure of winning the SPL.
Rangers will now be putting all their efforts into winning the SPL - that gives them a couple of wins' head start, I reckon. -
After seeing the huns display tonight i have no worries, think we would win it.
-
It's still early in the season and you can be sure they'll be making a few extra signings.

- Just cant get enough
time to stengthen
with the huns down and out of europe and generally looking utter *, surely this is an ideal time for us to loosen the purse strings slightly and go out and sign 2 or 3 decent players.
not expecting us to spend mega bucks but now we've got even more money from the CL we've got to use it against them.
we'll proabaly win the spl with what we've got but with 2 or 3 quality additions- CB, LB and possibly striker, we'll wipe the floor with them this season -

100% agree mate time to put these bassards to the sword. More of an excuses though now for us not to spend a considerable ammount of cash.
-
Should be but we'll be busy in Europe while there at home concentrating solely on the league,so lets hope we strengthen just to be sure!!

plus look at what the bratislava disaster did to us, it may have been a much closer finish if we had been in the CL that year
-
celtic are out of sight
the rangers defeat tonight means celtic are out of sight in scotland when it comes to mony,,money means power and the power that celtic will have in scotland cannot be overtakens for years to come,
we will get 4 in a row now of that ive no doubt and to be honest should skate to even more titles in the future,,
plus rangers are now so far behind celtic in the playing side and moneyside i cant see them ever recovering from tonight s result,
heads will and should roll at ibrox as tonight is disastrous on a scale of the titanic sinking
there will be few survivors from the sinking ship that is rangers f,c
but do i give a * ,, no i dont,i wll be laughing at them out loud everytime i hear a moaning supporter /player/manager /chairman as no doubt they will have a lot to say and moan about over the comeing YEARS -
many thought the same when we went out against bratislava......look where we are now, three short years

dont think we'll walk it but i still think we would win with the players we have
we need more signings for the CL -
Being in Europe definitely affects the Old Firm. History has shown that. We need to buy more players to have a good squad. At the moment we have a good team but an average squad.

Spot On Davie.
This has set Rangers back YEARS. Clubs almost have their TV and CL money spent before they have it. Where are Rangers going to get 7m back now (the money spent on players)? They will struggle to find it. Scratch that, they wont find it.
Weir, Dailly are only going to be around for another season so they need to replace these guys - that will cost them aswell.
David Murray wont invest again.
Wonder when the spin will come out of Ibrox about a huge signing or a statium extension or some other pish.
Their Grand Prix team will probobally crash out at the first corner too.
I would give Rangers 4 years to get back to any sort of decent position to challenge us in the money stakes. Having said that, the onus is now on us to exploit their weaknesses and stay further ahead.
