now that arturs gone :54: do you think that we should buy a new keepers who is just as good as boruc, or do you think that zaluzka will do for now??
i think we should let zaluzka play and when it gets to the january transfer window, i he isnt doing well, then sign a new keeper

I've already put this in player suggestions.

If Cervi is numer 2, he must play in some of the pre season games to get used to playing in the first team. -

Swap McGeady for Craig Gordon and let them have Campbell :icon_mrgreen:

CU twitter - Anyone fancy an Irishman in goal next season? Just been told we are looking to replace Boruc with a new signing...

i would rather have a 6th defender and no goalkeeper then have zaluska
if we have deffo sold boruc then sod trying to pay £6mil for keane, we need to spend that on a keeper -
zaluska's good enough in ma eyes, if hes playin every week he'll only get better
-
no we should play zaluska and get a cheapy of free for back-up/third choice
why do people think zaluskas not good out of interest? -
no chance of getting Shay Given - he's Man City's no.1, he's been brilliant for them and the paid £12million for him. Absolutely no chance, not one bit
-
Without a shadow of a doubt, YES. I like Zaluska but he is gonna need more competition that Cervi to get the best out of him, we need at least 3 keepers, just in case!
-
No I don't think we should go out and try and replace the best keeper we've ever had in the last 30 years. Naw see we're a selling club, got to keep the bailiff's away by remaining debt free and keeping ahead with the council tax..
To be frank - yes, but given the money we will be willing to spend I doubt we will acquire someone with better talent than Zaluska (no disprespect to Zal as he is an 'average' goalkepper but a good SPL keeper) -

Westwood would be a good signing. I do think that we are gonna be looking a keeper as we cant go the season with 2 keepers.
But whether its a no1 we are looking or a no3? Thats the question -

no because more money needs spent on other areas of the team zaluska is very capable be stupid to spend money we dont have on a position which is quite safe
-
Need a good keeper but i think zaluska is good and playing regularly he may surprise us. Not seen much of Cervi tbh but going by that i'd say we need at least a decent goalie to be competition for Zaluska and to back him up if injured or *.
-
I think Zaluska will step up to the mark now Artur's away, but I do agree he needs a strong No. 2 behind him to keep him on his toes. I've not seen Cervi, is he up to the job???:celt_2:

The talk on the Newcastle forums from an ITK is that Stevie Harper is on his way...
