He's been more important to the side this season than last, in the end. An injury-hit start - which then had people saying how he's a one season wonder after missing a sitter in only the second game of the season at Tannadice (you know who you were, we know who you were) - has been followed up with absolutely terrific performances over recent months. Without him we'd be out the title race.
Well done on the 50, Skippy, now go and get us Four in a Row. :50:

I agree, he's been better all-round this year than last. -
His all round game seems to have improved beyond recognition. His quick feet are unrecognisable from last season.

probably wgs best signing, hes been superb all season
-
Now that JVoH is back aswell he is playing better, he links up so well with Jan and they know each other's game.
-
Even before Jan was back he was playing very well. MOTM performances at Falkirk and Rangers over Christmas spring to mind straight away.
-
Plus has stopped taking it himself so much imo, and thats helped his game
-
Hes the only striker we can rely on too get us goals when we need them. Aye he misses great chances, but what striker doesn't throughout the season. In the other thread someone mentioned the Rangers 0-0 game and the Dundee United 1-1. But what about the games when he's scored cracking goals to get us the points. 0-1 at Ibrox, 1-2 at Rugby Park. All we need is another half decent striker too play alongside him.

50 goals in 90 appearances now and possibly WGS best buy.
-
Skippy has improved so much under Strachan :50: -
If more players had the same fight as Skippy the league would of been over at Christmas
-
He was outstanding today, inspirational
-
The amount of times I've heard him being called lazy but today especially his work rate was fantastic.

ive never seen skippy play better,he deserved his goals today,he was all over the park ,the ball seemed to stick to his feet, the runs ,passes and link play with mcgeady was brilliant, beyond brilliant ,and the goal in the 92nd min just says it all, a lung bursting run getting beyond the defender and from quite a tight angle a cool finish,he capped that with a great smile afterwards
