    He's not got the goals to games that Sammy has or International or European experience but he's decent , young and someone who could bully defences..
    Might compliment Hooper or just offer us something different because we haven't got a long ball outlet , or much of an aerial threat in attack unless Murphy shows something he hasn't really shown in his career to date..
    The options with Sammy will be 1) selling him in January , 2) keep him knowing his contract is as good as done and use him sparingly for the remainder of the season , 3) freeze him out completely untill the end of the season , 4) try to get him out in January and get something in return through a player swap..

    Very much doubt this. Di Matteo's a smart manager; anybody who seen Fortune and Samaras playing together last time couldn't think that's a good partnership.

    Fortune's a decent player for a team that doesn't dominate games.

    He does a good job for West Brom and £2.5m is cheap in the Premiership. Just can't see this one happening at all; it doesn't make sense.

    He sits on the bench when everyone's fit. 2.5 mill is a lot to spend on a squad player, especially for a newly promoted side.

    And a goal to game ratio of 1 in 3 in the SPL is awful.

    Not really. Average price for a Premiership footballer is far more than £2.5m.

    He does a job for West Brom and Di Matteo knows how to use him properly. Has the makings of being a very shrewd manager.

    Samaras won't go to West Brom. I think he'll either go back to Holland or a wee team in La Liga.
