When i was watching last night i was sure he was going down the middle with his penalty before he even hit it.
Was anyone else here thinking the same thing?
Discuss Robson was going down the middle with his penalty in the Celtic Chat area at TalkCeltic.net.

What about their keeper?
-
ooooh. Errrmmmmm. Not sure. Think he was just clumsy lucky..dunno. Need to watch it again.
-
Yes my mate predicted it as well.
-
After sclaffing his last one and saying in the post match interview he should have just skelped it, i think it was fairly obvious.

The penaly kick taker should be practicing as much as a free kick taker practicing free kicks. You never see this much lack of composure in countries where they do this like Italy.

Shocking penalty, even though the keeper was 3 yards off his line when he hit it.
No composure whatsoever
Any suporter could come on and boot it down the middle.
You either.
put it in the left corner
put it in the right corner

Penalties are a lottery, i don't blame him for losing the match tbh.
The greatest players in the world miss penalty kicks, i'm sure Robson's success rate is a decent one! -

Why is Naka not our penalty taker? -
I think samaras should have taken it. He's the only player i would hav put money on scoring out of the whole team. He was the only one that looked interested last nite!

Yes the guy next to me bet me a fiver that he would miss it, 0-0 and a fiver down.:54:

Three penalties, against Rangers, St. Mirren and now Aalborg. All exactly the same, all three of the worst penalties you will ever see.
He got away with the others more by luck than judgement, so having seen how both could so easily have been stopped, why on earth he decided to do exactly the same thing again, * only knows.
If you are going to hit it down the middle, you have at least got to get the * thing off the ground.
I'd never let him near a penalty spot again. One miss, yes, but I could have saved all three of them. -

It does not matter where he puts the penalty, as long as it goes in. If that penalty had snuck in nobody would be complaining.

Agreed, The problem was that i was just expecting exactly what he done. I knew the pressure was on and he would go straight down the middle, which makes it even the more frustating he missed. -
Aye knew when he stepped up it was going straight down the middle, he is still a good penalty taker just need's to stop hitting them down the middle.
