Jesus Christ. It really is a sad state of affairs when celebrating a 90th minute goal by running down the touchline is brought to attention by the police.

What about Goodwillie's gestures to the Celtic fans when he scored his goal ?
I don't see anything written about that. -

There must be a Celtic v Scotlands Shame game coming up eh :bbpd:
-
Better get get 50'000 letters ready we might over celebrate
-
Laughable.
The people who matter are generally ripping the entertainment out of football.
Players can't choose to celebrate with their fans (I can understand this one, as it's potentially dangerous if rival fans are amongst the crowd), booked for removing tops or extreme celebrations.
Now a passionate manager can't run down the touchline and celebrate after a 90 minute winner.
It's becoming ridiculous.Last edited by a moderator: Oct 23, 2010 -

no action taken but that didn't surprise me -

we shouldn't expect anything less, all eyes will be on us to be punished to the exacting letter of the law, and let it slide when other teams do the same.

doubt you said that at the time
think the rules are rather ridiculous and managers/assistants should be allowed to celebrate as they see fit as long as it doesn't provoke rival fans
i just want to see some consistency regarding the matter but in scotland we don't get that
one rule for lennon
one rule for mccoist -
* scum leaves a bad taste in the mouth.
Its celtic against the spl and rangers we need to win every game to shut them up or demand a transfer to england! lol -
the panel will decide the course of action to take..... after the goat has been cleaned up. *,s ...ruining the game. who cares about anyone celebrating a goal? i say if you canny take a beating dont watch it.
