Now come on, everyone knows that a manager should stand impassively at the side of the park, and his options are to have his arms folded across his chest, or to have his hands in his pockets. If he cannot be trusted to do this then he must either sit in the dug out or sit in the stand. Really is obvious, to any sensible chequered hat wearing plod.
To show excitement, pleasure etc, is simply not allowed, except for a gentle and quiet clapping of the hands.
When we score tomorrow, maybe all of the supporters in the ground should remember all of this as well. Police may have to write up reports citing 53,000 of us for celebrating.
FFS it is a football match, not a symphony concert. I look forward to lots of noise, and I hope that some stupid copper has a report to write that says the Celtic manager celebrated with his players on the park after the game.

Very sceptical about this story, firstly in the article there is no qoute from the police and second why has it taken so long for the police to voice there concern.

My view is this is a cover-up story, so that the SFA as they wanted to do is take action against Neil Lennon. Had Dougie Mcdonald not arsed up his decision, then more than likely Neil Lennon would have been ordered to the stand after his bust up with the fourth official ( had he been sent off he wwould have been in the stand for huns game). They are using the police and this celebrating a goal pish as a smoke screen for their course of action if it was for celebrating goal, then why as previous posters have mentioned is David Goodwillie not under the same investigation as his provocative gesturing after the dundee utd goal was similar if not worse.

Neil Lennon celebrated with his own fans whilst that wee * tried to incite the away support, which could have lead to a riot if we are going to be dramatic about this. Double standards here if any action is taken on the basis of goal celebrations, Peter Houston whos comments after the game were unacceptable should also be facing action. As yet nothing has been done about his comments, if it was Neil Lennon or the man with no surname the SFA would have been on it like a flash.

I suggest the SFA get there own house in order before they try to act on others.

Or am I just paranoid.
