Watched Benfica vs Almeria yesterday and was quite impressed with A Bunuel who plays right back. Only seem him play once right enough.

I’d love us to look at Jesus Gallardo. Mexican international left-back (57 caps), playing at Monterrey in his homeland. 5ft 9, pacy, two years left on his contract. Moved to Monterrey for about £4.6m, but that was 3 years ago, so not sure how much it would take to get him now.
Started all 3 group matches at the last World Cup. Much more recently, he’s been playing with Mexico in this year’s Concacaf Gold Cup: was a sub in a goalless draw vs Trinidad & Tobago, but then started the remaining two group games vs Guatemala and El Salvador - both wins.
Very much a wingback type, but also solid defensively. Loves to press, run at his man and put crosses in.
I’ve wanted us to take a look at him for a few transfer windows now. About to turn 27, so still a v good age.
