Celtic's bid to enter the new year by narrowing the gap to leaders Rangers has been hit by the postponement of their clash at Kilmarnock.
Once again it was ruled unsafe for spectators to travel to the game which was due to be staged at Rugby Park.
Hamilton's home date with St Mirren and Hibs' home clash with St Johnstone are also off.
It left Rangers' clash with third-placed Dundee United and Hearts' match with Motherwell as the only fixtures set to take place on Wednesday.
The four games have all been called off due to adverse weather conditions in Scotland.
An SPL spokesman said: "The playing surfaces were in order but in both cases the police made the decision on the grounds of public safety.
"We are touch with our clubs about the other games and will keep everyone updated with any developments

exactly though apparently Edinburgh is really snowy right now so perhaps that weather will come our way. Though, tbh if it's a late kick off I can't see the roads being bad tomorrow night...

Was really looking forward to the game too. We always seem to put in a good shift against Killie which could have set our confidence up for the huns on Sun.
Since I stay nowhere near Kilmarnock, would anyone from that area know how bad it is? I know it's icey but is it justified calling the game off?

I don't think its a positive KD more than likely now we will be 7 points behind the huns going into sundays game we could have done with the points in the bag from the Killie game and also Im pretty sure Mcginn and fortune would have played in this one and worked there way in to the starting line up for Sunday now I reckon will stick with the team thats played the last few games.

I don't think I'm meant to see us play anymore, that's 4 games this season I've meant to be going to but have been unable to attend, 2 of which are down to the bloomin well weather :54:

Was really looking forward to meeting up with a mate and going to this game too :54:

Totally in agreement with you on that , i was going to post in the match thread that we might see McGinn getting a start and the team that starts the Killie game would be more or less the team to face rangers ,i would rather this game was on.

We better get a closed door game then vrs good players otherwise i fear the worst!! Anytime there's even the tiniest break in play time we suffer a massive form lose..:31:

People are going to be using the roads anyway regardless of if there going to a match or blooming killie town center so a bull call from the spl!

Also think about it.. we win v killie n go to the huns with the possibility of reducing it to 1 they suffer nerves and crack and can then dip in form from then on..this is a massive boost for them imo because even if we do win there's no immediate sense of panic from them..at least not until the postponed game is played and by then it might be to late to 'rock the boat'

Don't know what like the streets are over there, but over here the paths really are unwalkable at night and are complete death traps, the local hospital had to close the A&E because they couldn't cope with the amount of people coming in after falls, so if it's anything like that I can understand them calling it off.

Would rather the game got played myself, but at least we shouldn't pick up any injuries ahead of Sunday.
