The roads are fine but the paths are pretty iced up, so I would say its prob the right call. Still * off all the same, hate to give the huns an advantage:31:

It's set to worsen over the next week or so,so are they going to postpone the OF game? I doubt it because it's a money maker..

They need to reinstate the winter break because this time of year is a farce in the SPL

apparently the reason its off is not because of the pitch but the area around the stadium is too icy; can understand it in a way but still it really annoys me how a bit of cold weather wrecks havoc all over the place

in a purely footballing sense, i dont think its necessarily good for us, it means we could be 7 points behind rather than 4 we might have been which if nothing else would give rangers the slightest of psychological advantages

I wouldn't worry about a form loss, we usually only play Saturday/Sunday to Saturday/Sunday so there shouldn't be a problem with that, if anything in this weather it means we won't pick up any injuries going into the game.

The state of the pavements are the big local news story up here at the moment....* disgraceful. A skint council, who fritter away their funds on pish, and then we get to the stage we are now - essentials required (bit of * grit) and no money to supply adequate resources - especially manpower - to rectify the problem.

    Utter stupidity.

Same here. Could've gave McGinn and Fortune a start here and seen what the reaction was. If good, play them against the scum. If not, don't. Now it's going to be a risk. And we now go into the game on Sunday on the back of that horror show against Hamilton. This is not a good thing for us. Conditions around the ground?, what a load of *.

if our players need fresh legs to get up for this game then they can go * themselves. sheer adrenalin should carry them through no matter what. we owe them....they took our title and they won the first derby at ibrox......fresh * legs...our crew better be * chewing their way out of their cages to get at this shower of *.

absolutely :50: trust the SPL to get rid of the one good idea its ever had; i'd go further than that, instead of having the summer months off we should have December and January off! obviously the league would be affected with call ups for tournamnets and stuff, though other countries seem to manage it so why not scotland?

you're mind can want the win but sometimes a body just will not alow it.
Boxing is a great example. someone might want to win a fight so bad but they're falling all over the ring trying to stand up from being knocked down so I'm afraid sheer adrenalin isn't enough to win games.

Killie will be loving the fact they don't have to turn their undersoil heating on..

I see it as a bonus that the game is actually off, the masons in black have no further opportunities to send off any Celtic players ahead of Huns game, we also should be fresher and less chance of injuries.

Killie are no more than a bunch of hammer throwering Huns that won't travel to Ibrox, we can beat them at Rugby Park early next year when our new players arrive.

The police have the final say on whether or not it's safe to hold the game, I would hate for Celtic supporters to travel all the way to Kilmarnock and then to be told it's of on Wednesday night, so if there's a chance of the weather getting worst, make the call early. Hopefully we can watch the Huns dropping points (really can't see it) or a player or two might get suspended, we can only dream !!!

    wouldn't make a difference I'd suspect.
plus too short notice (I know it mightn't seem it cos it's only being moved a day but it is)
