this post probably sums it up mate.
Was just asking cos i just saw highlights from the UCL Final that Milan won, kaka was outstanding, and gerrard was watching at home by the looks of things.
i also thought Kaka was great in the one Liverpool won, especially in the first half, he played an absolute brilliant pass to crespo for one of the goals i think. -

the easy answer for me is Steven Gerrard the best box-2-box midfielder in the world for me -

If you were to say who's the most influential for the respective teams it would be a different matter though. -

i don't know mate, obviously Gerrard is so influential for Liverpool, but i think Kaka is the only reason AC Milan won the champions league, and were runners up 2 years before that.
Same with Liverpool, without gerrard would they have won the UCL, and without Kaka would Milan have ?

I would say Stevie G. It speaks volumes that Liverpool went 2/3 months last season without a win except in games either Gerrard or Torres scored.
Gerrard offers alot defensively as well as offensively. He scores and creates as well as getting from box to box cutting up play...
For me i would rather have him in my team for this reason. I believe Englands national team have under achieved due to gerrard being moved to accomodate Lampard and not vice versa. -

I prefer Gerrard would much rather have a fully fit Steven Gerrard in my side.

Stevie G but kaka is probably better flair but Stevie G is the best all round centre mid in the world
