As the title suggests, is this one of those games where Dermot Desmond steps in?
Obviously before the manager was the one needing replaced, but will Dermot bankroll the signings required to secure 9 in a row?

I doubt it, he didn't seem to do anything last time we lost a league game. What's different about this one?

Can’t argue with the couple of responses so far, this just seemed to be our only hope when discussing in the pub. I’d tend to agree with the posters above, which ultimately worries me but time will tell.

El Hamed, Jullien, Forster, Frimpong and El Younoussi are all improvements on what we had in their positions. -

If we are serious about 10 we need to sign players in January that will make the Huns * themselves. Dermot needs to tell Lawwell to make the money available.
They’ve been slowly progressing for years but it’s a bit embarrassing at how quick the gaps closed. 10 in a row looks at major risk and that should never be the case given how far we have been ahead of them on and off the pitch. -
Only way he’d step in would’ve been if we had lost by a few in the final and then lost today
-
The huns definitely have the upper hand now. No point denying it.
This transfer window will win the title.
We don't have a great history in January. -
