Some of these posts seem very entitled.
If we don’t win the league, season tickets won’t blah blah blah.

10 trophies on the bounce our team has won. They have stepped up in every domestic challenge for over the past 3 years & people are writing us off, what’s worse is, it’s our own that are doing it as well.

We have only lost the end of December trophy & there’s people acting like kids, it’s truly embarrassing some of the * being spouted by some spoiled *.

I would imagine plenty will be embarrassed after the festive season drinks have finished with their outbursts, but some I don’t think will be, they are the ones I’m not concerned about.

 

Listen they * have put all their eggs in one basket. When we put things right meltdown 2 will happen.

Keep the Faith Bhoys and Ghirls.
It hurts now,sure, but the title is still in our hands. No favours needed from the sheep or any other team.

Slippy celebrating as if they had won the league will get the right response from us.

Yep.

Given the pressure they have been under and performances our side have given us over the last few years, I think we have hit a slump. A wee December slump where we have averaged 1.7 goals per game, we started the season banging in average of 3 per game, yet still picked up points until one * game. Its impossible to keep that up for the duration to keep the hordes happy. We have a side who is knackered but has played its heart out for months and months and months and given us such joy, even as recently as in Rome where we had such an historic night.

We won the first trophy of the season. We are STILL top of the league. Yes, we made a proper * of Sunday. Hands up, take the hit, what's done is done. We will regroup, have a decent break, team building and get the morale right back up.

It's fine to have a moan, but some of the reaction has been pretty OTT. We got * by Livingston too ffs. It happens. It's football. Take care of ourselves and we win the league. You are spot on with the entitlement part @SUMMER TIME

 

The hard bit to swallow is the wait to * these * over again.
Kind of spoiled this time of year for me.

Don’t think it’s a board issue, bottom line is certain players * it up- missing a spot kick, a center half that can’t compete in the air, players not showing up due to being constantly flogged. As fans, we are entitled to ask questions, especially when we have been short changed.

 

I don't think it's a slump, mate. They've outplayed us too many times the last year for it to be down to factors like that.

I honestly think it's tactics. Even if we are flying, if we play them with the same tactics we will lose more often than not.

It didn't start under Lenny either. Exactly the same pattern happened in Rodgers' final game against them.

In fact, the only game with a different pattern (and a comfortable victory for us) we had a much more aggressive game plan, pressing very high. Their CB's are pretty decent theae days, but they aren't good enough ball players to cope with that.

There are also microtactics. Like how they cut off the supply to Eddy and surrounded him with 3 when he did have it compared to how they constantly engineered 1v1's for Morelos.

Obviously January will be huge; but we already have (on average) better players. This title will also be won or lost on the tactics board IMO.

 

Their squad is not as deep with talent as they think you see how they worry if morelos is suspended few injuries they might just struggle

Maybe. I'd rather we weren't relying on Hun injuries or suspensions to win the title TBH. We have good enough players that we shouldn't need that.

 

True but its not all about talent, its about hard work and digging in also.
Same way as I worry about Eddy.

 

Honestly think we're good as is.

Yes mibbe another striker but its not really a necessity.

If anything needs done its that Lenny needs to stop molly coddling the players and praising poor performances. They all (with the exception of broony and the wall) need a sharp hoot up the hole imo.

 

Personally think hes got the fear of doing that now after doing it st hibs and loosing the dressing room.

 

Not a Desmond moment, there has been significant investment in the squad in the summer.

On paper we have a strong squad but we simply have to be better set up and more motivated vs them as the head to heads will be huge to the lack of strength of the other teams outwith us and them. We now need to put a run of wins together to put pressure on them in the hope that they drop points.

We definitely need a quality striker to give us more quality, options and cover when Edouard is out as what else we have has proven to be unreliable. we also need more leaders on the pitch to step up when our backs are against the wall in games vs them and show more battle and heart.

The team(lenny included)just have not been good enough against them in the last two games and theres no one else tp blame.
Were all * off about the performances but the answer is in the team and not the board.
Of course new players may improve things but its no just down to a lack of talent in the team.

 

His golf swing might wobble for a few shots but nothing else.

 

There are more subtle ways of doing that TBH....I don't think anyone is advocating him tearing the backside out of under performing players.
