We need a goalscoring striker with a bit of pace and height - that would probably cost about £4 million.
Solid left back who can defend and attack. A left back version of Lustig really - £2 million or more.
If Virgil goes, a solid centre half who doesn't * about with it - £3 million.
And another holding midfielder like Wanyama. * knows how much a player like that would cost. -
20 million should roughly be enough for ronny to build a team. This is of course if the board pull the finger out.

What areas would be our top priority, And what would be the cost for a quality replacement?

The problem is that we can afford the transfer fees but cannot pay the wages decent players are now commanding, RD said it himself.
The best we can hope for is the complete collapse of the EPL. -

Hate stuff like this. The jobs too big for him? Our old manager had no experience of management before taking the job & getting pumped in European qualifiers - Gordon Strachan had previous experience and still got pumped in European Qualifiers in the first season & even Martin O'Neill didn't make Europe proper in his first season - so how you can say the job is too big is beyond me. Ronny hasn't had a penny to spend yet, how can he be judged without time and money?
If you still feel that way in a year/18months time thats fine but until then let him get his own players and style implemented. Crazy to want someone sacked in August
