Im not a football casual myself, its a lot of pish to be honest with you. I hate that type of thing, people just going to the fitba for fighting and nothing else. But do we still have casuals? I remember when I first started going about 1991, security wasnt as strict as it is now and everytime we played HIbs or Aberdeen, the CSC (Celtic Soccer Casuals I think their name was) would fight their casuals, or have some kinda disturbance with them. Was just wondering if the Celtic Soccer causuals still existed cause Ive not heard of us having casuals for a long long time. Aberdeen and HIbs still have the best casuals apparantly, I think Hearts and the Hun Scummery have no bad casuals as well, Im not sure. But anyone with any information on any element of Celtic casuals please get back to me as Im interested just out of curiosity.

Yes we do, mate of mine is banned from Parkhead for life for being involved with the CSC.
It is extremely minimal though according to him, there's very few of the proper 'casuals' left more wee neds that think it's big and clever to get drunk and throw bottles at each other. -
Rangers ones are just wanks if you ask me... ive successfully flamed every hun ive came across on youtube

I know a few boys that are involved and its actually pretty embarrassing. I wouldn't even class them as casuals they would not last five minutes against a proper mob from down south. Most of them are under 20 now as well.
If you are interested in joining i can give them a bell :icon_mrgreen: -

The 80's used to have loads of casuals, normally they got turfed out of the ground after a short while to the sound of "send your casuals over here" from the jungle.

Aye the Celtic Soccer Crew/Casuals. They were never one of the strongest firms, and still aren't. Aberdeen, Hibs, Hearts, and Dundee were very respected in terms of casuals. Or so I am led to believe.

Never been a widely renowned firm but they have a lot of contacts down south e.g. tottenham and wrexham to name a few which seemed to increase the reputation of the CSC quite a bit back in the day. Speaking to some casuals from other teams up here the story goes that when they've met glasgow teams it's always been the scarfers who've cost more grief and are more lively. Nowadays the majority of celtic fans who claim to be casuals are just teenage boys who've seen green street and the like too much and just use the name CSC to impress their mates.

Still a few of the old Celtic Soccer Crew bhoys on the go. In the very early days of the casual era Celtic had as big a firm as Rangers. In the 90's many of the lads joined Anti-Fascist Action & did a right good job in helping to stop groups like the BNP/C18 being able to organise properly on the streets of Glasgow. The CSC also did a fine job of stopping a mob of various right-wing English firms attacking ordinary Celtic fans in the Digbeth area of Birmingham before a 'friendly' against Birmingham City in 1996.

CSC was what I heard getting shouted -
I was there.. trust me, this was the first time I'd heard or seen this CSC business when the coppers were marching them to the ground and there were a few hundred guys all up for it.. I don't think all or most of them were in this 'CSC' but most were hangers on who wanted a scrap.. some were hard * aswell, half were Scottish and half were Irish and when a few were involved with square-ups with Chelsea fans they liked to mention what section/battalion of the P.I.R.A they'd been in... :87:...
but yeah, a lot went on at that game that wasn't reported.. at one point there was nearly a huge mass battle between thousands of fans.. on the main road between the stadium, involving Chelsea fans with uvf and bnp flags and some normal Chelssea fans and mostly normal Celtic fans. I'll admit the riot police and the police on horses did well by charging the Chelsea fans when they did, or else it would have been chaos..
here's an article I found on the trouble:
