Who is your first choice?
For me it is Christie. Quicker, more energetic. The team seem so much more fluid with Christie.
Think he is set for a huge huge season. Very excited to see this bhoys career progress!

Unpopular opinion, I've never been that big a fan of Rogic... It feels like he turns up only 3/4 games a season - being honest, I'd sell him.
I'm going for Christie here for similar reasons the op mentioned.Xatraps, Westlondonscot, thomohoq and 1 other person like this. -

Pressed Rogic by accident. I do think Rogic is technically better than Christie and can do things Christie can't.
But Christie has an insane work rate and can actually manage to play 90 mins, without being injured 24/7 so has to be him.clonbhoy and Lilac Wine like this. -
Will need them both this season hopefully.Voted Christie as hes most in form right now,I know Rogic is injured but he had a poor last season.Think he'll be more suited to Lennons faster more direct football rather than BRs style.

I think people’s forgotten how good Rogic is because of last season.

Rogic for me. Capable of a magic moment nobody else in our current squad can provide.

Rogic to me is our Le Tissier, and Christie our Scholes...
Tommy contributes at times, but most of the time we carry him. Christie is shaping up to be the engine of the team for years. Between the injuries and the constant call ups for oz, I don't see there's really a contest here -

Really depends on how we’re going to play and the opposition.
Rogic at his best is outstanding, but those sort of performances are fairly few and far between. Christie appears to be more consistent and gives us more tactical flexibility with his ability to last 90 minutes and the defensive side to his game.
Right now the jersey is Christie’s to lose.Random Review and Lilac Wine like this. -
Christie all day long.
On the park for the full 90 minutes, running himself into the ground. Scoring goals, assisting goals, getting stuck in.
He simply offers more than Rogic. While Rogic has something special in his locker, Christie is the much more rounded player. -

I picked Christie because right now he's looking far more consistently effective but Big Tam is by far the most capable of producing moments of world class genius.
Also he can shield a ball like no one I've ever seen which is great for drawing players out of position.
Christie is a Disrupter though and doesn't let players in position settle.
It's a great problem to have obviously. Our midfield is quite amazing.charlietully likes this. -

That's a good idea although Broony is by far part of our best midfield.

In terms of contribution to the team then it has to be Christie, wouldn't really mind if we sold Rogic tbh, as good a player as he can be, we really need energy in the team.

If rogic had Christie's energy...well let's be honest, he wouldn't be at celtic.
I love Tam, but he's becoming more of a sick note. There is something seriously wrong with him I think.
Christie had his face smashed in and still managed to get back before tam. -
Christie for me for the all round closing down and general play. First line of defence and integral to attack.
That's not to detract from Tam who has a big role to play for us. -

Rogic on his day is a sublime player he would be in my team everyday, I also think Christie is a brilliant player that seems to run on Duracell so it’s a really hard question.

Easily Rogic when he's at his best. Injury has just continually killed his momentum over the last couple of seasons though.

Has to be Christie right now.
Rogic cannot be trusted to go 10 or 20 games on the trot. In fact it's near impossible for him..that's not good enough for someone who needs to be relied upon in that position.
No matter how talented he is. Too many people are saying "Rogic on his day" well right now Christie is showing it consistently when in the side and brings more pace and energy. Rogic hasn't has his day for well over a year now.
One thing I will say is it could buck up Tam to really turn it on.gazb1888 likes this.
