Celtic have been linked this afternoon with a returning hero.
Brendan Rodgers is still on the lookout for a left-sided centre-back with Maik Nawrocki not favoured and Gustaf Lagerbielke completely out of the picture. The manager has only really opted to trust Liam Scales since he arrived for his second stint but it's Carl Starfelt who's been rumoured to be in the picture for a potential return.

I’m still undecided. He’s clearly going to be coming in and be instantly better than everyone else, CCV aside.
I think my issue is I was hoping to upgrade on him before he left, so it’s like we are kinda going back to square one, which is an improvement on where we were at the back end of last season, defensively.martin_d likes this. -

Was very underrated by our support. He was largely excellent for us. The problem was we had no CB that could challenge his spot.

I'd happily take him back, but we needed a third to join him and CCV at that time anyway. If he was to return, nawrocki needs to seriously step it up, or him and lager and kobi all need gone to bring in another again.
Need three at the level of starfelt-CCV then scales and Welsh as the backup to them 3.

On paper I'd be all for it, bit the important thing is whether the manager wants him or not. He'll have his own ideas on how we play and who to sign that fits the bill, so really it matters not a jot what any of us think.

A no brainer.. should be lower than what we sold him for and certainly not an increase in wages. Take the Austrian lad too and then focus on other pressing areas.

Hopefully he’s learned how to not trip over the football, pass the ball, not have a touch of a donkey, and learned not to look terrified with ball at feet in his time over in Spain.
outwith that he has very good positional sense as a cb, and had some really good performances with us.
he is defensively better than what we have apart from CCV. I don’t want him to return here, I’d like to see better than him in the door.

Hmmm, not sure.
Depends very much on how well he played last season and his attitude/mindset now.

My opinion is stay clear. Look his record with CCV looks amazing i get it but lets not tempt fate twice i remember him getting bullied. Me personally go sign McKenna and the Austrian lad
