I'd forget Bellamy now... good wee player but will only join if we pay a fortune for him and big wages on top of that. I think we've got to be realistic. Lets get a good goal scoring striker (whos fit) on the books
Im keen to see Zurawski sign.

I want Zurawski, its that simple, bellamy would be a bonus but im really excited about seeing what this guy can do. As we dont know the ins and outs of making a deal we cant really comment on whats happening behind closed doors but as duiltism said this day and age deals shouldnt take so long,

A Wisla spokesman told BBC Scotland that they had presented their demands to Celtic but that offer would have to be put to the board back in Glasgow.

ever heard of a confrence call you bunch of muppets!!!!!!

Now it looks a bit worse. The Wisla spokesman has just said (5.30 pm. GMT) that the Scots were surprised by the Wisla's "unyieldingness" in financial matters. What's going on? Is Celtic really determined to buy Zurawski? If not the new Turks (Besiktas) are waiting outside with the doubled salary for Zurawski. And also a club from Serie A has joined the competition - says Wisla spokesman. In my opinion Celtic should fight for Zuraw, he is better than Bellamy, Hartson and Sutton altogether. You may trust me - I'm a Wisla fan but last year I watched some matches at CP for I'm a Celtic supporter as well. Came on Bhoys! Make the last final step and get Zuraw!

i was * at Zurawski for taking so long to decide, but now Celtic are just playing around and * up.... Zurawski wants to play for Celtic, he has his individual contract already agreed, and Wisla wants around 3 Mil Euro, so at this moment Wisla is not haggling for more money, its just that Celtic are * around with the payments as they want to pay in 3 or 4 payments while Wisla want it in one or two.... i doubt Celtic would use this sort of tactic if they did have enough money to buy Bellamy

I dont think that clubs argue ONLY about payments but something went really wrong today becouse even one of Wisla boardman has said on TV what they are going to do if deal is failed: another offers and so on. But nothing is certain yet, we must wait, again :87:.

Contracts take time, a Krakow spokesman on skytext has said "I think the business will be concluded early this week in one meeting". Celtic chief executive Peter Lawell has already jetted out to Poland to complete the deal so I see no need to be concerned. Celtic want Zurawski, Zurawski wants to play for Celtic and Wisla Krakow want to sell Zurawski to Celtic so I can foresee no problems.

To be fair m8, the board reportedly offered newcastle 5 million quid...to be paid over 3 years time in many installments!!! It's just the way the board do things, they are an embarrasment to this football club, and are already giving themselves and Celtic Football club a bad name in Poland. 99% of Celtic fans aren't surprised by this piece of news, but quite frankly at the moment, you must understand that our board like to play very dangerous games...remember Jackie Mac? Need I say more?

To all our Polish friends, unfortunately this is the way Celtic do business. Nothing ever seems clear-cut when it comes to our Board.
Biscuit tin mentality and penny pinching still exsist at CP, if this deal eventually goes * up I'm sure most of the blame will lie with Celtic's board. As for a conference call, remember Quinn doesn't even know how to use a mobile phone!!!

The thing I don't get m8 is that the man has committed himself to Celtic, rejecting better salaries, showing how faithful and loyal he is. We need to give him what he deserves, which is a chance to prove himself at a big club. I mean this is an absoloute disgrace how they treat this man, fully expecting to become a Celtic player but his loyalty isn't rewarded? Sounds a bit like the Jackie Mac saga, loyal, waiting...waiting...waiting...crap offer...on his way to Wolverhampton, then all of a sudden the Board decide to act in the last minute!! They have the money, we all know it, but they're playing a very VERY dangerous game. Sorry for being pessimestic but I expect the deal to break down within the next day or two.

If the deal breaks down now Quinn should be told where to go.

The sad thing is that it's true. He called the wrong number and left a message on a girl's answerphone.

Quinn isn't exactly the brightest tool in the box.

Quinn has to leave when he turns 70 later this year.
Why has what should have been a relatively straight forward transfer turned into the latest long running epic?
The price has been the same since day one, he should have signed last week, why does this always happen? At least Quinn isn't conducting the business in Poland, he'd still be sitting on the lugage carousel going weeeeeeeeee!!!!

lol, I laughed at how shocked he looked when we booed him at Parkhead. He threw his toys out of his pram and stormed off back to his nursing home.
