  1. Its possible but it would be * dirty trick. This guy really wants to play for Celtic, he rejected better offer!!! He would propably stay in Poland if the deal is close, oh * no. What a *!

Bellamy is singing today and its the reason why talk with Żuraw is over. It is unfair. Pity.:38:

  2. How do you know that?

  3. Too early to come to that conclusion Mate,
    we'll see.

    Hail Hail

  4. You're starting to talk like a Celtic fan now, Maline!

The Celtic manager said that he's done a lot of work on this deal, and he wants to get something from it. None of us want to see Krakow getting messed
around, but it's a rare thing for a Celtic transfer to go smoothly.

  5. I dont know that Im just fed up with this horribly long and difficult transfer. :54:

  6. Agree, I am sure he will sign eventually.. :50:

  7. *, this is doing my box in. I have a mental picture in my head of a strikeforce of Sutton, Bellamy, Zura, and Aliardierre, and it's making me cream my pants. I'll be really dissappointed if we don't get Zura, becasue for the money, he's probably a tremendous signing byt the sounds of it. It doesn't make sense not signing him, even if we get Bellamy.

  8. Imagine how gutted youd be feeling if you were Zurawski.

Seems to me the guy knows what Celtic is about and really wants to sign. Reading the polish sites his Wisla Krakow teammates are calling him "Celt".

Hope Celtic arent doing the dirty on the guy. Id rather have a guy sign who wants to play for the club rather than someone who signs because we can pay him huge wages.

On another point, when Dziekanoski scored his four goals against Partizan, am i right in saying that was his debut that night???

  9. I put it though an online translator and it looks like they had tough talks and that Wisla are now waiting on a decision from Celtic. I don't think that Celtic can drag this out much further without making themselves look daft.

  10. Talks with Celtic suspended
    [04.07.2005]

Today at 11 a.m. in Krakow another round of negotiations has started between Celtic Glasgow and Wisla Krakow regarding future transfer of Polish Champion's striker Maciej Zurawski

In the afternoon the talks has been suspended as the terms proposed by Wisla have to be accepted by the Scotish club's chairman and the board. "We have proposed our terms and were talking about details. These were some tough, bussiness-kind negotiations. Final decision is to be made by the chairman and the board of Celtic. We are looking forward to getting a reply from Glasgow" - said Jerzy Jurczynski of Wisla.

Do I use perfect tense too often? :)

  11. Nothing too sinister in that statement, so what's
    all the drama about ?

    Hail Hail

  12. Apparently this is something beyond Lawwells' authority limits.

  13. Does the guy no have the power to sign a player... I thought if he's going all the way out to Krakow he must be going to do the deal...
Procrastanation has cost Celtic in the past, i just hope it doesnt cost them again.
There was another report of a 3.5m Euro bid from Besiktas...

  14. You don't know the Polish style of making a deal. I wouldn't be surprised if Wisla's asking price turned out to be matched by Celtic several times, every time at the higher level... When our guys feel the money, it's like a shark feeling blood...

  15. Disagree. From the very beginning it was well known to all "bidders" that Wisla wants EUR 3 mill, and actualy doesn't want to sell Zurawski because Wisla has its own european amibtions/plans. So offer was/is "3 mill - take it or leave it". But everybody think that initial price tag might be subject of further negotiations. So the story goes... di da di di da di da...:86:

  16. Morol, I have some knowledge on polish transfer-making style and I doubt that this time it has anything to do with the case. I just don't see the determination on Celtic Board's side, if we really want to sign him (he's not very expensive, you can't deny it) then let's sign him, negotiations are only making Maciek nervous and that won't help him in his new career for sure.
It's a 21st century, can't they just take the phone and make it official? fax, e-mail, video-conference, so many ways to finish it quickly. You just don't have to fly back and forth all the time...

  17. it's not as bad as i thought now that i've seen it translated...phew, think we should be allright bhoys and ghirls
