I told you already, relax... it's only "Przeglad Sportowy", and what's more cited by onet.pl - sensation-seekers - can't be taken too serious. Tomorrow you will see Zuraw in the new kit.

That's a tough one. If you do not affraid to broke your tongue you can try Zuravsky or Shuravsky. Non of these is correct because there is no such consonant like "Ż" in english (nor in gaelic).

    Cheers

Maybe you're familiar with Girordins de Bordeux - "G" in Girordins is very close to polish "Ż", I think - pardon my french if i'm wrong :)

    Wisla waiting on Celtic response

[IMG] Maciej Zurawski was in Glasgow for lengthy talks

Wisla Krakow insist the ball is in Celtic's court if they wish to sign Polish striker Maciej Zurawski.

The 28-year-old is thought to have agreed terms with Celtic, but the clubs are yet to conclude a deal over the payment of the transfer fee. A Wisla spokesman said: "The next move is on the Celtic side. "We have sent them our proposal. They have to confirm that they still want him. We are still waiting for a response from Celtic."

    Hoops Face Zurawski Delay

    Thu 30 Jun, 12:09 PM

Maciej Zurawski is unlikely to be a Celtic player in time for the start of pre-season training on Friday.

The 28-year-old, who is regarded as Poland's number one striker, has accepted a contract offer from the Hoops, snubbing Trabzonspor even though the Turkish side had promised more money.

But Celtic have yet to finalise arrangements with Zurawski's club Wisla Krakow and are not likely to complete the move until next week.

It is understood have yet to agree to the Polish champions' proposals for the payment structure of a £2.1million deal and as a result the player is still in his homeland.

A Wisla spokesman told the Press Association: "The next move is on the Celtic side.

"We have sent them our proposal. They have to confirm that they still want him. We are still waiting for a response from
Legia Warsaw, who finished 15 points behind Wisla in third, are also keen to sell goalkeeper Artur Boruc to Celtic

Hoops manager Gordon Strachan has had the 25-year-old watched and needs a replacement for Scotland international Robert Douglaswho has joined Leicester.

The 6ft 5ins Pole would cost around £700,000 and is therefore far cheaper than Strachan's number one target Antti Niemiwho is rated at more than £2million by Southampton.

But sources close to Boruc indicated no offer had yet been made for the player, who is represented in the United Kingdom by the same agent as Zurawski.

Friday also marks the beginning of Celtic's five-year kit deal with Nike, which will be worth at least £5million.

But the only guaranteed new face on the training ground, apart from Strachan and his coaching staff, is left-back Mo Camara, the free transfer signing from Burnley. Arsenal striker Jeremie Aliadiere could yet arrive on a year's loan however as Gunners manager Arsene Wenger is keen to give the 22-year-old more experience.

    Good news...

According to the evening times, Celtic are agonisingly close to sealing Zurawski, and the Wisla President resigning has helped pave the way for Zuraw to join. He's expected to be unveiled tommorrow along with Aliadiere.
