Agree with you,but i think the board are happy to see us play a few games in europe and collect the few bob while not investing anything major.
And i think it will only change if we are challenged domestically(i think if anyone will seriously challenge us it would be the hun with some investment of their own)until we are challenged be it the hun or someone else i think we will see the same thing every season and thats us bringing in players just to help us maintain our dominance in the league and Europe is nice bonus for the board.

 

I know a lot of folk wish we had a Larsson again.

What I’d do though for another Di Canio, PvH, Lubo or Nakamura.

 

It’s the aggregate score I expected before the tie, but the disappointing aspect is they aren’t a very good side and we were playing them at the perfect time.

It's *, because for all their millions they were very average and there for the taking after last week. We didn't even make them work for the goals, it was all of our own making, would be fair enough if they were pumping us from cutting us open with slick free-flowing football.

 

When he was appointed, I had thought penny-pinching was over, because we have finally gotten a renowned manager. I guess not even Rodgers can command enough influence to make the board unleash the funds.
Worse, he might not even want to spend money on defenders.
