This is why I don't get carried away with talk about 40 mill players and how good a side we are. We are...till you reach Gretna!!

I challenge everyone to remember this when we are at Hampden picking up the treble which I fully expect us to do!! By the end of the summer we'll be world beaters again!! It's called perspective lads. Hail hail lads...wouldn't change being a Tim for anything!! Part of life's rich tapestry

We'd be better with Doris Day in goal.

Of course, the stream changes to the Arsenal game so I can't hear what Brendan has to say about that shambles.....

Had been on language class, and so I did not see the game. It seems that we cannot stick to a playing style that works. People have mentioned us being indecisive and limp. Why can't we stick to stuff that works?

While Rodgers has been brilliant for the club, his tactics in Europe (this season in particular) have been incredibly poor. I don't think he is learning from past mistakes because we've seen the same * multiple times now.

Would've brought him on instead of Tam as he lacks pace which is so important in Europe. The wee guy covered so much ground in his short time and sjould be starting on Sunday for me. * ourselves by not scoring more last week when on top.

Agree there's nothing worse than being beaten when the team looks like they lack desire.

    Gutless. Underwhelming. Pathetic.

What an absolute shitehouse of a European campaign.

Spent £150 on the Champions League and Zenit home game and what did I receive?

    A 5-0 humping off PSG.

An admittedly good performance against Bayern that ultimately ended in defeat.

One of the worst Celtic performances I've seen against Anderlecht. Lost that one as well.

A great performance against Zenit that was completely undone by the shitebags out on that park.

We were * lucky to get Anderlecht when we did. Rodgers needs to boot half these players up the balls because the reality is we have been AVERAGE this season.

Don't let the league position and League Cup fool you. We have been poor. Hearts couldn't * score in a brothel and they put FOUR past us! How on earth do you not invest in the defence? We bought two CBs, one who's 33 and couldn't play in Europe and another a 22-year-old CB from Dundee who's barely played 100 senior games.

Lustig is done. DDV should go nowhere near two posts ever again. If I see someone slating Gordon for being poor with the ball at his feet, I'll show them that Zenit goal so they can understand why Gordon is actually pretty * important to the team?

No attacking threat and no running at the defenders. This isn't a isolated issue, we've been scared to try and run at markers for whatever reason.

Rodgers has a lot to answer for here. I * love the guy and we'll never get a better manager than him right now, but this summer is going to be absolutely massive for the club and his reign as Celtic manager.

This incarnation of the Celtic team has run its course. It's time to ditch some dead weight and bring in some flesh blood. Any players who'd rather be sipping on some juice in Dubai can go and do a runner.

What an embarrassment. It doesn’t matter the level of opposition you put us up against, we’re guaranteed to lose three goals minimum away from home in Europe with performances like that.

Our mentality is poor. We have no confidence and can’t attack with pace. Our players are terrified to be inventive and afraid of giving the ball away.

We allow opposition teams to get back into position far too easily which has resulted in dross such as St Johnstone and Rangers stifling us at home.

Lustig has been finished for almost a year. He’s * abysmal and can’t even turn. His passing is woeful, he plays hopeful balls to no * and is incapable of overlapping anyone.

Gordon and de Vries are pathetic.

How can thousands of fans recognise that we have needed a goalkeeper, right back and a centre half for ages, yet people who are paid to do the job either can’t see this, are blinded by loyalty, or the funds aren’t being made available.

    Absolutely * dreadful all round.

Not really surprised with the result, half expecting it. Been inconsistent all season, Europe and domestically. Have to agree with Sutton, tonight we bottled it. The players on the pitch bottled it and Brendan bottled it. Hindsight is a wonderful thing but Brendan took the easy option selecting the same team. Zenith are not that much better than us, just better organised at the back. We made it easy for them ( as we do for most opposition this season) with poor defending and goal keeping. We are predictable in our play, making it easy to set up against, easy to read and easy to nullify. Brendan should have set us up more attackingly with more attacking options ( hindsight). The next 3 league games are prob more important now than ever, time for consistency in the team selection, no more chopping and changing with Europe to look after. Look to the future now as some players will be moving on in the summer.
On another note I don't know why people are getting on Dembele's back, no decent passes or attacking play to find him. Only Forest and Brown pass marks tonight, even the dependable KT was below par.
