He didn`t do anything wrong. Forster would have done well to get down that quickly. He is more than good enough to be No.2. You find many better keepers than him willing to come and sit on the bench

Aww thanks so much for that pointless observation pal :50:. Sad because my opinion differs from yours and you have to be right all the time?

Zaluska has always been *. I remember between Forster's loan expiring and signing again permanently Zaluska was in goal and he was an absolute * nightmare and people on here thought he was good enough and I just couldn't understand it.

He's not improved at all since then. Dundee United game and the Hearts game he had a couple of howlers, I remember him dropping a couple of crosses and hitting the Dundee guy on the back with the ball. It must be really difficult being a defender not knowing what your keeper is going to do next.

Today he had a pretty comfortable cross come in from a corner and decided to punch it, admittedly it was a decent punch and set up a counter, but the players around him must just be expecting him to collect it.

Anyway, I can't believe a decent keeper hasn't been brought in to play number two, Lennon and all the coaching staff must see what nearly everybody else can see that he isn't good enough.

He's not really at fault for much today, but the defense rarely looked organised and structured and a large part of that is down to what Zaluska is telling them, or failing to tell them from behind.

Alright rainman. Maybe instead of your bizarre number-crunching pertaining to the birth of threads you'd care to offer a salient point in relation to the discussion regarding Lukas Zaluska's lack of ability as a goalkeeper?

    Just a thought.

Pointless? You're the one one telling everyone what time this guy posted the thread and squealing about scapegoats

Angry? Not me sir - I'm actually pretty calm.

Didn't play very well at all today. Can't blame him for what happened today though.

Well there we go, it seems like we're in agreement. Now why can't we posit that opinion without being accused of the dreaded crime of scapegoaterry?

He should have saved the third goal, he punched a cross clear that was straight down his throat and he parried an easy save almost straight to the St.Mirren striker with about 5 mins left.

He's a poor backup, and you feel that had big Frazer been between the sticks today, we would have emerged victorious. We rely very much on big Frazer Forster, and in games like today it shows.

I just find it a bit coincidental that this thread was opened at the time that it was opened.

    Let the people sing,
Today just shows how much confidence a keeper like Forster gives to the rest of the team. When he plays, the defence are so comfortable with him making their job easier, and then the confident defence has a positive impact on the midfield, which then carries on to the strikers.

Defence looked shaky with Zaluska behind them and this carried up the field in the same way.

    Well, apart from that? :icon_mrgreen:

I would perhaps agree with you about the shot he parried late on and maybe with the cross he punched but he did get a good punch on it. I don`t agree about saving the 3rd goal though. He did extremely well to get down that quickly and there was a lot of power in that shot. Overall, I think he was ok
