If he stayed, he would've played more for us with our central defence shortages.

Crazy how many of our youth academy are being cherry picked in recent years.

We need to find a clear pathway, more competitive game's etc or something to stop them from wanting to leave so early..

Thing is though, at 15 Year Old you can be easily tempted by Prem or Bigger Leagues.. Doesnt matter what the pathway is through Celtic.

But aye it could be a lot better...

Agreed, if anything they're going to a harder pathway. If they're committed enough it could do good for their career but likelihood is they'll need to drop to another team to make a meaningful breakthrough.

Which is why we should be trying to show them a better pathway through..

We've lost so many. Obviously some will as the opportunities and club's are too good an opportunity to turn down...but something must be wrong with just how many are wanting away over the last couple year..

As you say, the pathway to us is a lot easier than EPL club's. They get a sniff here and do well then the door's open for them and the financial rewards for us..

We need for them to want to stay. A lot of these kid's will actually be Celtic fan's as well. So maybe a shake up of the academy coaching is something we could be looking at..

    * knows man.

Why stay to play against guys off the street in the lowland league and not get a chance and stagnate for years when big clubs in Europe are wanting you and willing to go play against the best youngsters on the planet?

Promising the likes of Anderson opportunities if he stays instead of going to Leeds and then signing Scales and also looking at another LB to sign. 5 players have played LB for us this season yet he’s not even been close to a sniff.

At this point Frame would be a * idiot to stay in all honesty.

Aye I never thought the lowland league would entice them to stay..

League 2, with the opportunity of promotion....yep..

Anderson will no doubt be away. If you're giving Greg Taylor a long term contract then it's time to go..

Taylor’s deal will probably be the least concerning thing.

Boli completely bombed out the whole club but coming back in and randomly playing a game.
Montgomery getting several chances when it’s been obvious for years he was never good enough but he’s a favourite of Kennedy and made a first team player.
Desmond signing a 23 year old from the Irish league.

Yet blocked him moving to Leeds and promised he’d get a chance with the first team.

Likes of Brooks will be wondering why the * he stayed as well with us signing Kenny. A player who wanted to join * Hibs ahead of us but Hibs decided to go and pay a fortune, for them, for a kid from the Norwegian second tier.

    The whole things completely rotten.

One of the best signings we could make from Bodo/Glimt would be Gregg Broughton.

Done an unbelievable job in their academy and done the same at Norwich and Luton.

The fact a club with their budget can go and get him and find the likes of Knutsen means they’ve obviously got some unbelievable staff higher up in the background as well.

Celtic have fought off serious interest from Arsenal to keep hold of teen talent Daniel Kelly.

The midfielder, 16, was wanted down south by the Gunners for their academy squad.

Kelly - who turned 16 in October - has been on the radar of several big clubs down south but it was Arsenal who were the first to make an approach about seriously taking him on.

He signed a pre-pro contract with the Hoops back in June of last year.

The prodigious talent has played for the Celtic B team this season after recovering from injury but has been out of action in recent weeks.

In 2018 Kelly played for the Celts' youth squads in Germany during the Santander Cup where the Glasgow giants finished third behind Juventus and Barcelona.
