I’m curious as to what happens if the colts win the league and it’s already pre determined they can’t get promoted, does it go to the team in 2nd or what?

Can only be positive that the unders are being mentioned in a 4th tier shakeup, Both Celtic/Orc unders in a 16 team division, with two teams invited from the highland/lowland leagues.

Obviously early days, still a long way to go with it, but at least it’s being discussed at club and league levels. I personally think we needs cut from Scotland but if it helps progress our players I’m all for it.

 

Think it would be very beneficial to us but not sure if other teams in the league will want it.

With our 21s playing against men every week would toughen them up and get them plenty of first team experience. I’ve heard about it in England a lot that players just stay at big clubs up until 23/24 with the u23 set up down there without actually playing a first team game then being released and getting lost. Where the guys who leave and go and play lower leagues have more of a chance of making a career.

 

I think there is a lot in that.

Saw the Celtic u21 squad play Livie a few years back and it was literally boys against men.

It's actually something you get used to just playing for fun as you grow-up. Professional footballers side step this part to an extent.

min this game he played Left Back, I mistook him for someone else. Seemingly naturally a Left Back/Centre Back like Mulgrew.

 

Brilliant to see him getting full games at that age. Didn’t even know he’d been loaned out? Is there a list anywhere of every youth loan we currently have out? Can only see a few on the club site

If you have a look at the Players section on the first page and the Reserves section on the second page, you will find players who are out on loan, mate.

 

Otoo seems to be getting a lot of game time, has anyone actually ever seen him play? What kinda player is he at full back? Always thought he was an attacking mid when he was in the younger youth teams

hope to * we set this new managing and coaching system up right this time from top to bottom, only ex players that are really good coaches get a job, get the best coaches in from wherever let the ex celtic players make a name for themselves as coaches elsewhere first, enough of this jobs for the bhoys

i mean really how do the fans know that these coaches are any good and that they are not just getting hired cause of affiliation with celtic and lawell is being a cheapskate ?

 

Asked a while back but does anybody know what happened to the South African boy letsosa a think his name was? Rodgers was sniffing about him a couple year back when he was turning 16 but he signed a new deal and never heard of him since.

 

He signed a 3 year professional contrct with us last summer but no heard much about him since...guess the Covid disruption to the development sides playing wouldn't have helped either.

 

Can add Doohan and that Yank too.

 

If "that Yank" is one of Gutman or Perez, they've both been sold I think.
