    Harper needs * playing immediately.

Frimpong would look like a different beast if he had someone like that staying wide and helping the creative play down the right.

How much do other people rate Ewan Henderson?

I can’t understand why his loan wasn’t successful, because he looks one of the best young technical, hard working Scottish players I’ve seen for us.

The same surety that he’s a player than what I thought about McGeady and Maloney. He has vision, and he can implement the passes that he see’s.

Think he looks better than Callum did at that age.

Problem was he wasn't the right kind of player for Ross County. If he had went to someone like Aberdeen he would have probably been like Christie was for them

Still (although I hope I’m wrong) don’t think Ewan will make it with us here due to players in front of him. Reckon he’ll be away end of the season to another team in the league

When you think of it Ajer done well getting a year under his belt at kilmarnock.

Christie another done well at Aberdeen and came back a more rounded player.

Turnbull served a great apprenticeship at motherwell.

Why do we not use other scots premier sides more than we currently do to bring our players along.

A year at st mirren will develop connell for example alot more than a year of bounce games

It’s not going to happen but I would like to see boys like Connell and Harper given a chance if they are not loaned out before the end of the season.

Turnbull and Soro were held back too long and that helped us get in this situation. A badly ageing Brown and a half arsed Ntcham continually got game time despite both being dire all season. Anything I have seen of Connell (all be it very little) screams out he is a player, he looks like he has a bit of everything to his game.

Harper carries a threat and we have no other genuine wing options, the boy should get a chance.

    Today's news?
    Club can't * help itself.

Fans raging at them, fans and media spelling it out to the club - the amount of money handed over to them this season has been unreal all things considered.
And yet here they are, a day after things got so bad lawwell had to do a fake interview, they furlough the kids?
Because we've fleeced enough money off the fans to pay for Dubai, but not enough to pay the kids a wage?

But * it, furlough them...it's only the public, the fans, that will pay for that again in the long run anyway.

Celtic have placed their entire Under-18s squad on the UK Government furlough scheme in response to the latest coronavirus restrictions.

And other Premiership clubs are expected to follow suit as the Covid-19 crisis tightens its grip on Scottish football

Celtic's Under-18s manager Darren O'Dea informed 18 academy players they would be furloughed during a series of Zoom calls.

All professional football beneath the SPFL Championship has been suspended by the Joint Response Group, with updated guidance from the Scottish Government and sportscotland warning that all non-contact activity in groups of 12 and over must also come to a halt.

Initially put in place for three weeks, subject to review, players have been banned from training or playing games. And Celtic will take advantage of the coronavirus job retention scheme to let taxpayers pick up the tab for 80 per cent of their salary, while continuing to pay the remaining 20 per cent.

However sources close to the players told to stay at home criticised Celtic's decision to furlough young hopefuls on modest salaries after paying thousands to fly first-team players and management to Dubai for a controversial warm-weather training camp in the midst of a global pandemic.

Parkhead chief executive Peter Lawwell now admits that was a mistake and has apologised to fans in a video released online.

And one relative of an Under-18s player - speaking on the condition of anonymity - told Sportsmail: 'People are struggling to understand why Celtic would go to Dubai during a pandemic and squander all that money on warm-weather training and then put young boys earning a fraction of the sum of the first-team players on the government scheme. That doesn't seem right.'

Celtic previously placed a number of non-playing staff on furlough last April during the first wave of Covid.

The first-team squad, manager Neil Lennon, backroom staff and club executives also agreed to a 'significant reduction' in salaries and agreed to defer 'a significant proportion of their earnings', with the money-saving measures in place from April to June.

The Premiership champions declined to comment when approached.

Just another balls up by the club. Something needs to change now. This is the first time that I'm really annoyed on how our club is currently being managed. Enough is enough

That's how bad things are currently. Always willing to give people chances but this has now gone beyond repairing. I'm converted now like the majority on here.
