Looking forward to seeing him play for us. Wealth of experience and massively under rated, always has been. Exactly what we need in midfield.

Mulumbu > McGinn everyday of the week as well.

im wondering if we'll see him play this year given hes not had a preseason

i liked him in that game against us played really well

but that he couldnt find a club and was drifting into retirement as a player before we signed him up last minute, it does make you wonder is this a get the fans off our back signing

hope im wrong and he goes on to have a great part to play for the club

What a load of *. He's already said he was training with a second tier team in France and had a personal trainer, and had offers from down south so been keeping fit and far from retirement

Feel a lot less worried going away to teams like Liepzig if we have this guy in the team tbh.

I think we need to not think of him as a free from Killie and think of him as a guy woth vast experience who was a very solid premier league player for years. A guy who bossed our own midfield at points last season and if not for bad luck with injuries would likely still be playing in the premier league(or atleast top end championship). He's such a smart player whenever I've seen him. Positionally aware, good in the tackle, calm in possession. Very good signing I think

Pretty much sums up my thoughts. Outstanding against us last year. Did at great job at Killie with very average players around him. A clever signing, but * knows why it took so long!

We signed a 33 year old Lubo from MSV Duisburg for a few hundred grand.

Forget the money involved, who he came from or who was interested. Judge the guy on his performances on the park!

Agree with Paul, too many snobby attitudes surrounding his signing. He could very well go on to be one of our most important players this season.

Why are people moaning about his age? This "sell on" mindset is * rife these days. The Seville team were all 30 plus except Maloney . Let's judge people on what they do in a Celtic shirt. This guy could turn out to be a star for us .

Hate to be that guy but Valgaeren, Balde, Petrov, Agathe and Thompson were all under 30 in Seville and most of the bench, Hartson would habe been under 30 too. I do gwt your point though :giggle1:

Short term absolutely, I still think long term McGinn is someone who would of been an integral part of the team once Broony slows down and nears retirement.

    Both would of been ideal.

Hope he gets on today at somepoint, he bossed every midfield last season.

Gerrard seems intent on building a team of arseholes n horrible hatchet men in the mold of a walter, souness or eck side.Looking forward to seeing mulumbu get stuck in to the likes of jack, laffditerty, harvey at ibrox.
